We've all heard that Brandon is a beast in practice, and now with D. Smith solidifying what we all believed that Miles scaled the play book back for games. Is anyone else curious as to how Harris would perform in this new offense? I was all for the QB switch, but I am curious.

No, he doesn't make decisions quick enough in game situations and has zero pocket presence.

While I am curious, I will say he was not accurate and had issues that were all within his control - those things had nothing to do with the play calls.

Harris just doesn't have any 'it'. That's all.

Not at all. He'd prolly be LESS successful in this offense given his inaccuracy w/ short-intermediate passes.

I was a little disappointed he didn't come in and run the offense the last 10 min

I agree his decision making is questionable, and I'm not knocking Danny, he's done a great job. I just wonder how much of Harris's inabilities were due to Miles and Cam. Can he really be as highly touted as he was and underperform as much as he has?

I'm not. Ed O is using these games as a training / practice session that they desperately need. Pissing away free practice time to run the ball 45 times was one of the biggest things that annoyed me about Miles

I totally agree.....with the game out of hand...there was no reason not to let Harris get some reps.....bad call on the coach's part because he needs game experience with this new system.

Anthony Jennings is proof that yes it's possible.

The QB whisperer ( Can Cameron ) couldn't make him another Drew Bree's, so I don't think Coach Ensminger, coach Craig, can make him any better. Have heard he would have been great @ Ohio st, bama, but look at how many 5 star qbs @ bama are sitting on the bench. IMO, he's 3rd string @ those 2 schools.

new offense

There isn't really a new offense. Etling actually checks down to running backs and tight ends. The only big difference in the play calling is that they are running more 3-4 wide receiver sets on non-passing downs.

Curious, sure.

But replace Etling no way. The weakest link on the team is the oline and Etling has shown the ability to slide in the pocket, still make his reads, and deliver the ball especially on short and intermediate routes. Those are the exact things Harris struggled with the most. Going into the sec run is not the time to replace him unless we have a big lead.
