Any areas you would say to stay away from?

Yeah, the address is 3105 N. I-35.

I read some reviews and people mentioned that while it isn't the greatest hotel, you can walk to and from the stadium with ease. That's a big selling point for me, not having to fight traffic in an unfamiliar area after the game.

I wouldnt stay around Rundberg or on the SW side of Austin. North Austin isn’t bad. Not a big fan of East Austin east of I- 35 around 183 and 290. Also if you stay out in Bee Cave while pimp is a traffic nightmare. Lake Travis area isn’t bad because you get on the 2222 and get off almost at the foot of campus.

Driskell or 4 Seasons if you have Will Cover Money. 4 seasons . Or Check out the hotel on Rainey, Hotel Van Zandt. I love Rainey St. Its all old bungalows that were transitioned into bars, beer gardens, and restaurant/bars. When I go out in Austin, I usually go out on Rainey.

I would park your car when you get there and don't get back in until you leave for home. You are in the prime location for everything to do pre and post UT-LSU game. Uber, Ride Austin, and shuttles, and even the Metro rail is your ticket to get around the ATX that weekend. And Honestly, you wont' be in your hotel much anyway. You might have the best plan for this game tbh.

There are 6 male cousins in my family. Three siblings went to LSU, the other 3 went to texas. This game has been circled on the calendar for a while. Our parents and other cousins, and family friends are all coming. Likely renting a house on Lake Travis.

I need to try Rustic for game it sounds like.

Efforts in the past at other places didn't see a large crowd or it was all mixed up. Lavaca was all Wisky with some LSU folk.

Perhaps Georgia then.

You forgot the Lime/Bird scooters. Those things are great when I want to grab beers after work and don't want to move my car around downtown and when an Uber seems stupid.

Golfer I remember when they started talking about the idea of this home and home all the way in early 2015. There were some talk even as early as late 2014. Renting a house on Lake Travis honestly is the best setup for the game. Take 2222 all the way across Austin and drops you off close to UT

Rent a cheap Airbnb in South Austin next to a house with a chicken coop.

The Austin Motel is legend. I always wanted to stay there. Its well kept for being an old motel.

And you right next to Jo's and HopDoddy
