he was also really classy in taking up for Lee after the first Bama game, saying that Lee played great and the team supports him.

let it go man. let it go.

Hard to square what I heard in that interview with rumors of Lee missing classes, failing classes, pissing off Miles, vowing to live his life secluded in a Zen monastery, etc. He sounds—as always—like a young man with a head on his shoulders and class in his heart.

One way or another, he'll make a good life for himself.

Thank for sharing.
I was expecting Lee to be showing some anger, but as usual, he remains a class act.

I have admired this man for quite some time. I wish Jarrett all the best. Good representative for LSU. Love to see him get to the next level.

Good Luck JL!

Hope he does great in the casino del sol all-star game and get some looks from a few nfl teams.

Would love to see him be able to make it to the next level. Guy is a class act.

Very classy young man. I like how the host asked him about JaMarcus Russell and Matt Flynn (highly sought after NFL quarterback behind Drew Brees right now). How we forget that Matt was in the same situation that Jarrett was in except Matt did get the chance to show his stuff at the Championship game.

JL was being very diplomatic. I could sense the frustration and disappointment in his voice, but he carried it off well and remained "professional" about it.

I hope he somehow makes it onto an NFL team and I hope someday to see him on TV take some snaps.

if Lee comes out now and totally pisses on the coaching staff he'll do several things to harm his life, not the least of which is lose any fleeting interest the NFL may have in him, as well as harm his ties to the program which is giving him his degree.

He only stands to win by being the bigger man. This thread shows the loyalty this fan base now has to him. At one point, he was a failure in many people's eyes, and the possibility of what could have been has given his career a closure shaped in redemption.

It remains a blight on Les Miles' career then why he abandoned such a classy, stand up, savvy and successful QB for such an asshat as JJ.

Lee continues to look good, while Les continues to look worse as the days go by.

No part of me will ever believe Bama was a better team. They were absolutely the better prepared and more confident team Monday night though - in stark contrast to the first meeting.

The kid just has a natural grace in carrying himself. I really wanted a Jarrett Lee led LSU team to win the national championship. Who knows - maybe his career path will turn toward coaching? He can certainly handle controversy better than a few people in the business. But for now, I wish him the same kind of success Matt Flynn has found.

He is saying what he needs to in order to not block any chances he has in future. Blasting the coach would be viewed on negatively by NFL scouts... and he won't do anything to hurt his very limited chances

We won't learn anything from the PC later today either. This will ONLY be about the players that are leaving. CLM may not even answer any Q's.

Not about class at all...it's just about protecting their identity
