I wish people would realize that this is what needs to happen for us to get to Atlanta. Who gives a frick who wins and loses as long as we get there..

we win out and then
Auburn beats Ole Miss
-Georgia beats Auburn
-Bama beats Moo State
-Bama beats Auburn
-Ole Miss beats Moo State

Wouldn't Moo State still have the tie breaker?

AU will crush them so it doesn't matter who I root for. LSU eviserated OM mentally and physically. Their spirit is crushed.

Yep. Arky upsetting state is suppose to be in there too.

If this is what ends up happening, Auburn would have 3 losses and drop out, leaving LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Alabama in a 4-way tie at 6-2. The first tiebreaker is combined record against the other tied teams:

LSU 2-1 (beat Ole Miss and Alabama, lost to MSU)
Ole Miss 2-1 (beat Alabama and MSU, lost to LSU)
Mississippi State 1-2 (beat LSU, lost to Alabama and Ole Miss)
Alabama 1-2 (beat MSU, lost to Ole Miss and LSU)

MSU and Bama drop out, so then it's just head-to-head between LSU and Ole Miss, and we win that.

I don't know - I'm just torn about all this. I'm unaccustomed to rooting for Ole Miss - except in rare circumstances against Bama.

Are we sure Ole Miss beating Auburn can't hurt us? Because if we're not, I'm for Auburn.

No they not. We can take Arky winning though, its just lagniappe, but we would have a 4 way tie and its the tie breaker between LSU, Ole Miss, Miss St and Bama and we come out on top... if Miss St loses an extra game and its a 3 way tie with us Ole Miss and Bama we still go.

We're better off if Auburn wins. We need Auburn to lose 2 more, but they still have to play UGA and Bama on the road. It looks like the only time we'll need to be on Ole Miss' side is in the Egg Bowl.

Good. Because I was going to root against Ole Miss, anyway. I'm against Ole Miss and Bama the rest of the way. I really hope that works out for us.

Auburn because Auburn will lose to at least UGA or Alabama. Miss State needs to lose to Alabama and Ole Miss, and Ole Miss needs one more loss for LSU to get in.

If we get to the SECCG this year, somebody has a lucky golden horse shoe up their arse.

Any possible scenario that would lead to both of them losing?
