Listening to talk radio and Auburn fans are sick of Gus already. They hater the fact Coach O owns him. Auburn fans have another 7 years of this. He just got an extension.

They get pissed at him but there are not a lot of can’t miss hires out there so they locked him up before someone else poached him. The guy beat Kirby and Saban last year so I’d say he does not suck as a coach.

I'm not sure if there is any fanbase that has a more volatile love/hate relationship with their coach than Auburn does with Malzahn.
They wanted to fire him after losing to us last year, then they go on to beat Auburn and UGA and play for the SEC title.

He’s won a natty as a OC. he’s won the sec and played for a natty as a HC. WON WEST last year. He can beat saban. He’s contending more often than not. He has a nice resume. He has great concepts. He’s a good coach.

Gus Mahlzan is a better coach than Auburn can afford and will be for a long time.
They need to ride this season out and get back to me at the end and then we can talk.
I do see Gus maybe jumping over to Arkansas (I know, Auburn is better than Arky) if he gets the chance but only because he played college football there when he went to school.

Auburn has fans exactly like ours after a loss. They blame the refs. They want to fire their coach. They quarrel among themselves. They Think the announcers favor the other team. They think ESPN hates them. They obsess over Saban.
Go to one of their boards after a loss and compare it to here after a loss. Its he exact same thing. LSU fans were wanting to run Miles off the year after he one a national championship.
