They do and they don't. Kind of iffy. Interesting to note, they have only beaten Bama 3 times in the last decade. And each time, they had something to play for. But, if there is nothing on the line for them, then they lose to Bama. If we beat them Saturday (which I think we will), then that pretty much eliminates them mathematically from winning the West. Both us and Bama would have to drop at least 2 games before the end of the regular season in order for them to have a shot at it. So, if they win, Saturday then that bodes well for them as far as beating Bama, seeing as how the West would be on the line when they play them. However, if we win Saturday, it's a real toss up as for what auburn does the rest of the season. They haven't beaten Bama in a game where nothing was on the line for them since 2007.
