I personally love when LSU is the underdog. Especially at home. On the road will be tough but I think we win.

Auburn hasn't beaten LSU by more than 7 since 2002. Just fwiw.

If we manage to win this game after having been pretty much written off this year, Auburn fans are going to melt hard.

Is there anything about our run defense that convinces you otherwise?

I don't see anyway our defense stops Nick Marshall. Harris will have to show up slinging and out-shoot Marshall.

Sadly I think that line is low. Our D will not stop AU. Our hope is to outscore them and we're just too young. I do applaud the coaches for working on the offense even in the second half last Saturday. Wish we had done more of that in the two games before MSU.

Well Marshall can't throw, so just do what people do against us.

Marshall is not a great passer, but he does have some serious WRs. If our DBs are constantly having to help with our run defense. Coates, Williams, and Bray can hurt LSU even with Marshall throwing it.

LSU has nothing to lose IMO...loss is expected. If we can somehow pull the upset, look out though....we may be turning a corner.

Main thing IMO is we gotta get one of these two road games. Then get home for a month for Kentucky and a couple games where we will have a significant motivation edge and we will also be a more seasoned young team and hopefully starting to hit our stride.

We do not have a solid trench team this year. If you can't control the trenches on both sides, you can't win the SEC games. Period. LSU has some of the worst run defense I've seen in quite awhile. I can't remember so many big runs already given up in such a short period of time. We've been gashed most of our games. I don't even think the great Malveto defense and dline was this bad. Bunch of underachievers and inexperience on our defensive line right now. Certainly not living up to the proud dline-U moniker. I've been so disappointed in Hunter and Rasco. I don't think the light is ever going to come on for them.
