Smart was 1 for 10 from the field. He's been totally out of control for 5 or 6 games now. WW needs to reel him in.

Hello everyone, I haven't been on here today, but I watched the game and noticed two things that stood out in today's game. Horrible officiating as usual, some of those calls were ridiculous, and LSU continues to struggle in closing out games. They have to get much better at that, and the inbound passing needs to improve greatly also.

Auburn looked like a Mid-major in tourney play. Gimmicky high risk game plan because they knew they were outclassed. Based upon their 1st half 3 pt shooting, this game spoke volumes for LSU to advance to Sweet 16 at a minimum. Gimmicks are not enough to overcome the combined efforts of an explosive front court and a steady back court.

Which recent games did we struggle to close out?
At State we had to come back to force OT
Arkansas was neck and neck
A&M was never in question
Missouri huge comeback then legit closed it out in OT

In other words, you were not smart enough to see the writing on the wall. LSU dominated the lower probability stats and would win in the long run. Low IQ thinking hits the panic button and tries to show humility in defense.

Our ability to break press is well above average at the least. It's a high risk, high reward scenario by nature and we have excelled since conference play started at a minimum. Today only provided film for our limited shortcomings going forward.

Bigby played only 4 minutes in the 1st half because of foul trouble so he was fresh to go all 20 minutes.
Naz was playing too well to take out.
It didn't help his cause that Emmitt completely 0 effort-ed on a easy slam dunk by Auburn in the 1st half. Will Wade was pissed.
