In conclusion, a couple of times this year we have been thrown out at 3B with no outs. That’s bad baseball.
Just then we didn’t play aggressive with a fast runner to get to 3B with only 1 out, which would have been smart baseball to push it.
Therefore, Thompson’s fly ball to CF did not score a run. We let one get away there.
