2011 NC.....yes

All others....coin flip

Not too many other coaches in the nation can say that versus Bama/Saban.

Alabama's garbage 07 team pushed our BCS champions to the brink (we needed a huge 4th down conversion from Doucet late to even tie the damn game). Our shitshow in 08 took #1 Bama to overtime with some of the worst offensive playcalling and execution in the Miles' era.

Point is, the LSU/Bama game this year will be a dog fight like always. Big, fast athletes against big, fast athletes. Great coaching staffs, winning pedigrees, experience at QB, etc. We'll probably win by three touchdowns.

since he arrived at bama in 2007, nick saban is 4-3 against LSU. in regular season/non-mulligan games, he is 3-3. please tell me more about the coaching advantage he and bama have over us.

or, you could save your retarded posts for the "i wanna shirtlessly tongue kiss nick saban" board.

Do they have predictions for the rematch should LSU happen to win the first one?

Miles has done such a good job the last 2 games we've played them.

That's dumb, last year was one hell of an exciting game.

So yes, the last time we played he did a good job, good enough? no.

Anyways, they are two time defending national champs

I know. There seem to be less and less people who actually enjoy football for the thrill of seeing two good teams go head to head and more and more that just enjoy complaining about things.

I'd say it was due to the unique nature of college football where there is so narrow of a margin of error - one or two losses are much more damaging than in other sports. But I'm not sure if that's the real reason for the complaining. Heck, I see it about the baseball team, about the Saints, about the Hornets/Pelicans, etc.

Starting in 2014, LSU is probably the favorite to win the SEC West.

Somtimes you need to wait your turn.

A&M is the only tough road game Bama has next year, therefore a logical assumption by Athlon. No offense taken here...

Athlons is SEC ignorant. All this does is motivate the team to prove what's up.

They may be kinda right. LSU will have some trouble on D this year AND the game is IN Bama..............

No it's plain ignorance and bowing down to the top dog. How is it logical that their schedule is a cakewalk when their actual toughest opponent is LSU? History can does not lie and is fact 100% of the time. LSU and Bama have come down to the wire every year for the past 6 years. Don't give me that 1/9 crap, don't know WTF happened there, but to say we are no challenge is plain stupidity.

six years of 4th quarter games through 3 defensive coordinator switches say otherwise. Secondary STACKED, Linbackers STACKED, inside of our D line is solid with Freak and Ego. We'll have to see how the ends do like we saw how Montgomery and Mingo did in 2010 (as true freshman). Hell the defense was the problem last year because we went up and down the field on them.

saban is better if he has 40+ days to get a team ready for one game.

One to two weeks to get ready. Miles has proven he can more than hold his own with anybody, saban included.

With all those great #1 recruiting classes saban brings in every year bama should be going undefeated every year.

LSU is the only team that can manup on the tide and go toe to toe every play and win a bunch of them.

Saban '04 is nowhere near the coach Les Miles is today.

Ke-Ke and Sonic Sam were in the '09 class and both redshited that season.

Rasco and Hunter both did something M&M didn't do. They both saw time as true freshmen.

Not surprising since according to Mitch Light he grew up an Alabama fan and his dad was a huge Bama fan.

In reality it doesn't matter until the game is played. Who cares what a magazine says? Last year no one gave TAMU a chance against Bama but thanks to Nick Saban's stupid play calling they lost at the end.

Play the game and we'll see.

I will be surprised if an SEC team makes it to the BCS Championship game this year.

A battle between two undefeated titans!

Ohio St. vs Louisville for the 2013 BCS Championship.

I expect the SEC champ will have at least one and maybe two losses this year.

And Miles is no where near the coach Saban is today. Who do you think brings in those great #1 recruiting classes in at BAMA? He has turned those into 3 BCS titles in 4 years. Miles had two weeks to get ready for BAMA at home last year, how did that turn out? Miles had 4 weeks to get ready for BAMA in New Orleans year before, how did that turn out? Miles is a good coach and great recruiter. He is just not as good as Saban at either. But he has a lot of company there. 3 in 4 years and 4 in 10 yrs, really?? That comparison was closed shut on Jan 9, 2012.
