At what point does Nuss lose the locker room?

Poor play is one thing. Hospital balls are another.
That high ball to AA got his arm in a brace. Then the next pass to him across the middle is behind him. AA has to stop, spin around and lose all momentum. Gets squished by a defensive lineman from behind and his day is done.
A couple more of those and WRs quit putting in the effort across the middle...

Nah man. When you put in work day in and out, bring in the best receivers in the country, and have one of the top defenses in the country..you have to give your team the best chance to win.

That has nothing to do with “losing the locker room”. He’s a leader of the team & a team captain. If he were to get benched & MVB starts, he’s still a leader of the team.

IMHO it's a valid question. As a whole, it's not unthinkable. I have no idea how MVB has looked in practice but his highlight film from last season is very promising. If many start to think that a healthy MVB would perform better than an injured Nuss, it definitely can start a divide in the locker room.
Nuss clearly isn't performing and it definitely looks as if he's injured. The coaching staff seems incompetent to not only start Nuss over MVB
but they have refused to even give him a series or two in any meaningful game.
It's very disheartening to sit behind an injured player. It's not as if MVB has no experience in SEC play.
