Isn't this what they have been trying to do with the screens and wheel routes?
The offense opens up once you make the DBs and linebackers respect QB runs and quick slants over the middle.
If Nuss takes off running for a first down once or twice a game when the field is open in front of him, the defense suddenly can't just sit back in coverage.

When has this team been firing on all cylinders while at LSU. Don’t count JD running all over the last 2 years.

He loses me 3-4 times every season but I keep coming back to support my Tigers. I guess if he ever actually has a losing record or misses a bowl game I'll officially start boycotting.

I really don’t think he ever had the fanbase. I/we went along with his hiring thinking that Woody knew what he was doing. His opening fam-i-ly speech was cringe, but I went along with it hoping for the best.
He just really isn’t a likeable person. Not that I hate or dislike him, but just his personality really isn’t likeable. In order for me to tolerate him is he has to win consistently in which case he could be the biggest a-hole in the world and I wouldn’t care. He probably won’t do that.
