What are you talking about? We won't qualify for a BCS bowl unless we win the SEC or finish in the top 12. Assuming a loss to Bama (as you state), neither will happen.

We are 15th in the Country as of yesterday. If we only lost to Alabama who is at number 2 as of yesterday, we will be in a BSC Bowl game with a record of 9-3. We will only go up in the BCS Poll.

They won't go to a BCS bowl game at 9-3.

Lets not act like the 2007 team was well oiled machine. We had a tremendous amount of scheduling luck and upsets of teams ahead of us.

Right now, he is out of touch with the way the defense is playing.

My bad. The west is only won once every 18 years or so with no defense.

man i love the standards he set. its like im back in the curly days again just hope we win. frick the fact that we have shown we can be a national power and we really were a sleeping giant. i prefer sleep anyways plus i mean its a not like miles is getting paid an assload to win so why should he get pressure if he is doing his best

So you're not happy with the way we won our NC last year. Guess you said the same about our 2003 NC when we needed some help with teams losing the last weekend.

Everyone was raving at the USCe halftime adjustments. 9-3 is nothing to worry about. Les is recruting great and we'll be back and better than ever next year. So, get your bandwagon jumping shoes on for when it starts rolling again.

The same shite happened in '04 with Saban. Do you remember his interview where he went off on everybody for questioning his choice to keep playing Marcus Randall over a true freshman JR? He bitched about parents calling him, media folks asking, other players asking. You give this fan base an inch and they'll take the whole fricking mile.

Fixed it for you.

Until our young and inexperienced defensive backfield and LBs learn to play with each other, no DC will be successful--no matter what our clueless fan's expectations are.

Lsu will probably finish 9-3 which is a good season. But what you see happening on defense is the loss of Saban's athlete's and his coaching. Just go back in Les Miles history at okla.state and you will see a team who could score 40 a game but give up 50. I hope this isnt a sign of his past coming back. These two defense coaches have to go. Giving up over 50 points twice in one year is unacceptable.

this is different than 04. we got blown out in 1 game in 04 not 2. the other loss was a close 1 point loss. 2 diff animals. the bowl loss was a product of knowing saban wasnt the coach and the mistake bertman made by letting him coach that game.

the co dc's are clearly a problem

Sure we needed some help in 2003, but 2007 was a 1 in a 1000 shot.

There is a reason there has only been one two loss team in the BCS CG.

Add to that-
We avoided playing Georgia.

We needed five 4th downs to beat a very young Florida who all of the rant is now saying was bad last year.

We barely got by a 6-6 Bama.

We got the third best team in the east in the SEC CG.

We got a slow 10 team with a statue for a qb in the BCS CG.

We lost to an average Kentucky and Arkansas.

We needed a last second play against a below avg Auburn(for Auburn standards) at home.

Ole Miss and Arkansas are far from gimme's. Don't mark Tulane down either. Bob Toledo is a good offensive coach and will explote our holes.

Besides it's not just the record. We have basically looked shitty in every game this year. Our D has had one good half all season.

Go ahead and degrade our NC.

You'd be better off just admitting you don't like Miles.

With great power comes great responsibility
Well, if Miles could just use his spidey-sense to tell what the next play was going to be, that might help. And if an opponent's blitzer comes free or if an opponent's WR gets wide open, Miles could use his spidey wrist net to snare them.
