All you have to do is coach at Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, UNC, Georgetown, UCLA or other more popular NCAA Basketball programs and you should have no problem. We not allowed to do that in the eyes of the sports media.

Because up until this case, FBI was not involved in basketball. NCAA had no authority to wiretap. I believe the openness was due to this being the way business is conducted in basketball.

It’s no different than mob guys saying “hey you took care of that thing with the guy at the laundry place? Yea I talked to him. He’s gonna be quiet. I wouldn’t worry about him”
If there are no specifics it doesn’t matter what he implies.
