but Lee is the only one trying to work Crowton's pass game

I'm pretty certain all 3 or 4 QBs are trying.

think he is out until fall drills rehabbing from ACL surgery. He could be really important this year.

with the loss of the most underrated LSU offensive player this decade (Quinn Johnson), we need to be strong at the center position.

The LBs and DBs really stood out

Honestly I've never seen our LBs this well coached. Max's boy Cutrera looked really good

I was actually willing to give Chavis some time. Didn't Tepper say it takes like 4-6 years to put in a system?

Pretty sure he's non-contact all through spring.

I think I can safely say the D is back

was there too. The O is struggling. The line play was bad. But the D was so fired up, Chavis is doing one hell of a job. They were showing multiple looks, I was impressed the new scheme was in this fast. I am worried about our QB play, it still looked horrible today and the WRs didn't help by dropping some passes

yea OL wasn't opening up holes too well

I thought the O looked good on that first series, then sort of called it a day

Chavis is much more firey than I thought. They had those guys ready to play an actual game today

It's still very early. The O always starts of rusty and gets better.

People(including Chavis) have said he is intense during practice and will be the first to chew someone out when need be. However, he says that during games he feels that it isn't right to get in players faces.

T-Bob did play about three plays with the QB in the shot gun. He wore a green no contact jersey and basically all he did was a shot gun snap and retreat into pass blocking with no one to block against. The shot gun snap proved to be a problem for the other centers several times during the scrimmage.

Can you give us some insight on the DL... I have a feeling they had a lot to do with the offense looking bad

The defense dominated the offense. Offense didn't score a touchdown. First team drove inside the ten against the second team defense but the ball was picked up before they were allowed to score. One's vs. one's belonged to the defense all day and they were very pumped to be out there. They played with a lot of pride today. It was very good to see.
