Everyone hates on Jennings, but it's easy to forget last year was his first time starting as well.

I hope Harris does his homework in the film room, but we're not doomed if Harris starts either. He almost beat Bama, beat Ole Miss, and that was with a much younger roster (and several games of DJ Welter instead of Beckwith).

Sadly, it seems like he's still the guy by default. Just still waiting for him to emerge and take this talented roster by the reigns. @Miss St. will be a very telling game

LSU almost Beat Bama.. I would not say Jennings

And LSU beat Ole Miss. Jennings was awful, we had the one td off a play action to a guy no one heard of. After run after run.. Otherwise Jennings was awful.

Jennings was also very poor against Florida, but LSU won that in another close game. Driskel helped us out.

From the looks of it to me. It's Harris's spot to lose. I think he understands how bad the passing game was last year. And when I heard Clapp and Chi and Dural all speak highly of Harris in the summer. If Harris wants to start he has it

Maybe this is a stretch but I think Harris wants to start.

Y'all notice about 75% of the drops happened from balls thrown by Jennings?
Posts like these are a joke, right?!?!

SO did you see the videos from this mornings practice?
Harris making nice tight throws. Jennings lobbing balls over his receivers head. Did it twice, out of the maybe 4 balls we saw each throw.

2 drops from Quinn (on 3rd downs), Melvin Jones drop (in OT with nobody near him), Dupre getting pushed out of bounds twice (one would have been a TD), Dupre drops a pass (on 3rd down), and Dural slipping on the quick slant route (caused an int).

This below isn't speaking exactly at you, more like in general.

Seriously, I want Harris to start, but good Lord the hate Jennings receives is not only stupid and shortsighted, but just down right uncalled for.

For the most part, Jennings did what he was supposed to in that game, yet from the moron's perspective, it's his fault when the others aren't doing what they are supposed to.

Seriously, seriously, seriously, go back and look at that game. What I wrote above, HAD IT BEEN EXECUTED BY THE RECEIVERS, would have made Jennings 15/26 2 TDs 0 ints, and 3 more 3rd down conversions.

On Quinn's second drop with 5 min left on 3rd and 4 right before the snap, Danielson says, "Are they going to run Jennings? It's been there best play". It's not like we were running on them well (Fournette 3.8, Jennings 3.1, Magee 2.4), and the receivers had already had several mistakes that could have moved the chains or produced points. Jennings had been executing for the most part, he just wasn't getting him from anybody around him.

Jennings got hurt twice in that game and came back in fighting. Reminded me kinda when the OL let Mett get crushed on like 4 straight plays and he wanted to drag himself off the field (against UGA).

Oh jesus tap dancing christ!

LSU has had ONE day of practice so far.

ONE DAY!

And you Jennings bashers start crap like this already?!?!

Exactly Salviati.

When I see people wanting this guy suspended for a year, kicked off the team, kept in jail, and dissect a couple of passes in practice after not participating for weeks, then I get pissed off. It's one thing to get mad at a guy for his play, or to get on him, but a lot of people on here, other sites, and in real life seem like they actually want him to fail so they can see Harris play. Seems like people would rather not have great depth and would rather one QB completely fails so we only have one good QB on the roster. Like a real strong resentment. I mean I have literally seen on this site, different sites, and IRL, people being over joyed when he was arrested for trying to get back his stolen things. I mean people seriously wanted him to be kicked out and/or go to jail, and some said "hope and pray". There is something very wrong and disturbing about that, and then these same people pretend like they have higher morals and class.

Yeah right
