Kiffin was entertaining other jobs the past few years. Auburn was a done deal until his daughter said something. He knew Ole Miss wasn’t the final landing spot but building them into something more would land him a top 5 job which I think was his goal. He seemed ready to get out of there for 2 years even with all the success. The ceiling is much higher at LSU even if you started on a lower floor thanks to what you inherited.

If what he built in a few months shows what he can do in a few years we will be setup for success. He will be judged on his ability to replace the coordinators soon though.
