Why would LSU want this guy? I understand what hes done but its over. Guy had the best talent in the country his last two years and didnt win shite....he won 1 bowl game against Kansas State and got beat by Jim Harbaugh and MIchigan in the other bowl. He cant deal with the NIL and hes two years removed from the game and you want him as your coach?.....lmao. Itd be like us Notre Dame fans wanting Lou Holtz back. Saban is Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden right now. Let it go and find a young coach that can build your program...

Agree. It is quite possible that he would not win a natty in the next four years. Then what

Look, I don’t think Saban is coming back - but IF he is he will not fail. There is no fail in the man. He will figure out a way to win in today’s game before accepting an offer.

Totally agree. Lots of respect for Saban, but we’re going nowhere putting a 74 year old man as HC. I’d love to hire him as consultant to recommend our staff.

All of that can happen when Coach Saban brings in a 40 something OC or DC and grooms him to be HC in 3/4 years

Saban returning to LSU and not winning another title would be worst case scenario

This is the rant at its best
Just his name alone besides his coaching ability would turn this program around, quickly !
Yes he’s 74 but it’s not like he’s going run routes at practice . He’s just going to direct traffic …. Those of you who say you wouldn’t want him back are just mind boggling to me …..

Dude it would be worth it for the sports soap opera alone.

If Saban comes back, LA heals a scar before the first game (we would blow the lid off campus at said game).

Count me in the camp that believes you take conventional thinking with a grain of salt when it comes to the GOAT.

Remember when everyone thought it was crazy that Tom Brady would go play for Tampa at then end of his career. He would be tainting his legacy, and all that. Well he not only cemented his legacy as the greatest QB ever but he also tore down Belichick's some by proving it was Brady that was responsible for the winning more so than Bill.

Now put that in the terms of Bama whining that he is too old, then LSU winning one more, then Saban himself being shown that it was never Bama, it was just him.
