sure that Miles and company are too.

Really. I've never seen/read/heard anything that I can remember to indicate that Miles is an arse. Hard headed sure. But hard headed to the point that you throw away a BCS title? No way.

We all know something happened.
We may NEVER know what it was.

But I don't think Les likes what is going on/went on anymore than we the fans do.

I used to believe that about Miles. But until he levels with the fanbase about what happened with JLee, the only explanation I can come up with is that JJ was his pet, and favorite, and for whatever reason, he disliked Lee. He let these emotions, and stubbornness to prove everyone else as wrong, to guide his decisions. In doing so, he sacrificed the greatest season in LSU history.

Come clean on whatever it is, and I guarantee most Tiger fans move on and forget, and get behind him. However, keep on with the ridiculous coach speak babble, and treating fans like they are morons, then man up and accept the criticism.

The bottom line is that you can't expect to treat fans the way he has and be anything but despised by them, given enough time.

Exactly. Funny, I see threads started on hear stating that Les doesn't owe the fans anything. OK. Nor do the fans owe Les anything.

I heard the fans chanting "Jarrett Lee, Jarrett Lee" in 2nd quarter, and Less Miles just ignored and treated the fans like shiit

Best post I've read in 2 days ! Agree 100%. Posters(myself included) Just were not ready for what we saw, didn't expect it at all and it's human nature to ask why and what happened. Signing day will get here and all will be forgotten.

yeah as long as he wins, he'll get a pass and it will be morphed into fandom-based love

but you lay some big eggs and all that will unravel quickly. the JJ/JLee stuff and quitting monday night are mind-boggling

I truly think this episode is going to be his Waterloo. The fans have stood by over the course of the past 7 years wondering exactly we had in a coach. Granted we won another title, but was this enough???

13-0 was not enough when you shite the bed in the single game you prepped the entire season around. Monday night's loss made the entire season a total waste, IMO.

CLM can't explain his actions in any manner that would make any sense to any half-arse football fan. He single handedly sucked the wind out of the team and the Tigernation.

Well, after almost 48 hours of moping (I'm a girl and should NOT care this much about sports .. even LSU ... and no pics btw) it just dawned on me today tthat he's as human as we are.

I'm thinking of it as related to a parent/child ... he's the "parent" of all these players and he's I'm sure torn about the things that have gone on and has dealt with it the best that he could this season. Should he have done SOMETHING to try to win or at least score on Monday? Sure.

And I find myself wondering if he really "owes" the fans an explanation at all. I've been a ticket holder for 15 years. Alum x3 between husband and myself. Kid there now. It's not that I don't WANT to know. But what goes on in MY family isn't your business and what goes on in yours isn't mine. And it really isn't our business what goes on in the LSU FOOTBALL TEAM FAMILY.

Yes, we are the "paying customer" but I'm also the paying customer at Walmart ... do they owe me explanations of why their stores suck? It would be nice but that's not how it works.

I guarantee you he IS as hurt as we the fans are and I know as hurt as the players are. I know that LSU football will get over this ... we're not off track ... just leaning a little.

I'm rambling ... but Miles will deal with this ... and fix it. And we'll be good to GEAUX!
