I hope you mean get called a ball.

either way, two pitches straight down the middle in the same at bat get called a ball is pretty obvious. You either have to be paid or be blind to miss those.

funny how differently people see things....last night all of the moo state folks were losing their minds saying the officials were terrible.

I was sitting in the same area and really couldn't tell whether a ball was outside or not.

i'm not one to bitch at umpires but this guy is ridiculous. it's like his strike zone is only part of the plate

I didn't think the ump was good last night. State was willing to swing at Langes curveball and fan all night.

At least he gave Hess that last call in the bottom of the 7th. I'm biased in favor of LSU as much as anyone, but that ball was WAY inside.

The camera angle was shifted slightly because apparently people were grilling under it and smoke was filling the screen.

That slight move made impossible for viewers on TV to tell balls from strikes if it was anywhere close.
