Yes, he did ask for the move, but I wonder if that was more out of frustration, since his stint last year @ QB meant ZERO pass attempts. I look at Denard Robinson @ Michigan, and consider if Shep could have been the same player, but he was not really given the chance on the field...

and t. tolliver was #1 wide receiver in the nation, along with R. Randle. Haven't heard much of either of them over the last 2 years as well. wonder what they are doing with this talent. Must be trying to squirrel it away for a rainy day.

Others have said this, but I believe it's worth repeating: Another thing RS bring to the table is his leadership. This guy is always positive, and is LSU to his core. You just don't see that many 2nd year players in a leadership role, but he's the real deal.
He could be one helluva recruiter when his playing days are over.....
