Bunch of whiny babies on here today.

As a Program Where do We Go From Here...........?
Here's where we go- we finish out the season 9-3 against significantly weaker competition than we faced the past 2 weeks, play in a decent bowl and likely win that, and then spend the next 2 seasons in the top five, since most of our competition in the conference will lose a lot more than we do.

Come ON people, just take a look at the roster. We're stacked for the foreseeable future.

I agree with you. We ARE stacked...............and Alabama will be breaking in a new qb next season. I can see us making a run for the SEC title the next two years. EXCEPT..............................................................as I'd stated earlier, even with that going for us do we as a fanbase believe we can beat Alabama in BDS next year? I sincerely hope we can. But based on how things have gone these last three years, I have serious doubt. How do the coaches change the mindset / composure of the program? In my opinion that's the only hurdle. Its no longer about talent. That is clear at this point.

You get a powerful offense in there and we are easily a top 4 team IMO. It's been proven time and time again that without being able to generate points in a shootout, you will in fact lose.

None of us are listening in on Cam and Miles conversations, but either
1. Cam is inept in his game planning
2. Miles interferes with Cam's game plan
3. Cam is just a figurehead and Miles is calling the bulk of the plays.

Either way, it's frustrating as phuq and I really wish Miles wasn't so damn stubborn. To me, it's time to find someone else who can get us over the hump and find a legit quarterback, not this amateur clown hour in Jennings. I hate to rain on his parade, but he really seems like he isn't that bright of a kid.

I do. This is a physically challenging series for both teams. Being on the road gives the coach more control over the team.
Go look at some history; we've won there more than here. And vice versa. And look at some of Alabama's other losses- A&M was there, for example.

The fans should dictate who the quarterback is? Really?

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. That doesn't make much sense. LOL!

It's the coaching staff's job to make changes, not ours as a fanbase. Some folks opinions are really way off base.

Lots of facts in this post. I agree whole heartedly.

And the conspiracy theories are laughable. To say that miles is a retard but calls all the play assumes he has the playbook memorized since he doesn't have the play calling sheet in his hands.

We don't pass because our WRs and QB suck. They suck because they don't have any experience. They will get there - they are all very talented.

Consider this my neggas: what would Florida State do with our schedule? Would they still be undefeated or would they have 3 losses?

We should just shut the program down.

Not to mention that we got manhandled by two other coaches with actual offensive creativity and WAAAAAY less time to develop any kind of team in the SEC. The writing is on the wall, and for those of us that don't have terrible, terrible foresight, we saw it quite some time ago.

Tell them to frick off. You really think saban was the hire that got LSU fans' adrenaline pumping? We certainly said that he would be good here. But we were so happy to un-dinardo ourselves. and the next coach won't either....but he also won't be the one that stifles our talent like he does.

Because I knew this would happen.

Yea, I don't think Miles is calling the offensive plays either. I do think that the philosophy on offense that we use is from coach Miles AND Cam Cameron. I also believe that the philosophy can work...................if you have a very good QB. Right now, neither of our QBs are ready to be guys who can complete 60% of their passes. So, the offense looks archaic. It didn't look archaic last year, when we had a big pro style QB. I think we're just gonna have to wait until one of these guys - Jennings or Harris - mature and improve. That might not be till next season.

Take any team you want and a sub Jennings for their QB and do they play as well and as close Saturday Night? Don't think so.

In the short term, I'd look for a JUCO QB who can run and pass--and just as important, who can learn quickly. Very quickly.

"i don't say it is as much of BAMA preventing anything as much as it is us preventing ourselves."

Amen to that. Forget how we measure to Bama. We are disastrously bad in the passing game. We need to get better, both to finish this year and to be the best we can be next year (which should be pretty darn good).
