Yes it does. playing on the road vs at home is a huge difference.

UK lost to AUB, Tenn, LSU, & ARK on the road.
AUB lost to ARK & Tenn on the road.
Bama lost to AUB & UK on the road.
Tenn lost to Bama, LSU, UK, & ARK on the road.
LSU lost to AUB, Bama, Tenn, & UK on the road.

Ark is 1-1 playing these teams on the road & one more left at Tenn. They've just had an easier schedule.

Dude, a team that isn't really good IS NOT beating all three of those teams simply because they are playing at home. You are severely underrating Arkansas as a team.

You watched the polls and saw Arkansas wasn't ranked for a while. They you keep paying attention to them and see them not as highly ranked as the Auburns and Kentucky's, so in your mind they aren't good.

They are an extremely well coached, talented team. They 100% belong in the same conversation as AU, Kentucky, UT and their record speaks to that.

I'm not saying ARK isn't really good. Alabama & LSU are good teams, but not as good as UK, Tenn, or AUB. You are severely underrating the difficulty of winning a game on the road.

I'm fine with it though. Hopefully, Ark is favored to beat Tennessee this weekend & I'll just put my money on Tennessee.

Thats true of about 75% of the teams in the country. So lsu is nothing special there

sure. but the difference is about 90% of those 75% need the other team to play bad in order for them to win.
Could Nicholls beat Gonzaga? of course, if they play awesome and the Zags play terrible, then they might have a chance to pull it off. There's not much Nicholls can do to make Gonzaga play bad though, so it mostly going to be self inflicted, and of course Nicholls would have to make shots at a rate that's above average for them.

Could LSU beat Gonzaga. Yes, and they don't need Gonzaga to be terrible to beat them, b/c they are capable of actually influencing Gonzaga to play bad. LSU can compete physically and athletically with anyone. Nicholls cannot.

LSU beat two of those 3 at home. They didn't get the opportunity to play Auburn at home.

Arkansas is a good team, and they are arguably the hottest team in the country right now. But I don't think you can completely discount the fact they have had a relatively favorable (not easy) schedule since the LSU game. In no other sport is the home advantage greater than college basketball. Since the LSU game they have played 5 road games. 3 were against the 3 worst teams in the SEC. They lost to the best team of that group (Alabama). The win at Florida last week was their best road win.

During this run they lost 1 game at bama by 1 point. They played very well at bama. Bama is a very dangerous team, seeded ahead of us.

This years’ LSU team feels like on any given night they can beat the #1 team in the nation, and at the same time lose to a team like Delaware St.

Lol we haven't lost to a mid major all season. All of our loses are to teams in the Big 12 or SEC where both currently reign supreme in hoops

True. Our worst loss was against Ole Miss at home. People like to think that Vandy/SC were terrible losses, but those were Q2 opponents.

Vandy, Ole Miss and SC were loses that this team really shouldn't have had. 11-5 would have us in a position playing for the top 4 bye and a 3-4 seed instead of 6-9.

Nothing you can do about it now though.

The Ole Miss loss at home makes me nauseous thinking about it. They are a straight up bad basketball team.

Yep. It's really the only stretch of the season we didn't take care of what we needed to. 4 wins in that first tough stretch instead of 3 was a small let down, but we could have easily overcome that. 4 wins would have allowed us to go 2-1 against Ole Miss/Vandy/SC.

True. But if LSU was somehow, someway, able to go 2-0 this week it would go a LONG way towards negating those losses.

Beating Arkansas and Alabama would give LSU two more Q1 wins. That would bring their total to 7 (assuming nothing changes on the back end). At 7 Q1 wins LSU enters a different conversation than where they are now with 5. 7 Q1 wins gives you more than: Arizona, Duke, Texas Tech, UCLA, Illinois, Texas. It would give you AS MANY as Kentucky, Villanova, Tennessee, Auburn, Purdue. Many of those teams are teams sitting in the 1-4 seed range.

Yes, there has been some disappointment in SEC play this year. But despite all of that you have a great, albeit difficult, opportunity ahead of you right now. Forget everything else that has happened to this point. Play your best basketball now!!!

LSU ML!! Classic let down game scenario for Arkansas coming off big win against kentucky and LSU will be hungry for a win and redemption from earlier loss to Arkansas.

Going with the OVER. Arkansas is legit and I'm not sure any one can stop Notae from scoring, especially at home.

Unfortunately this team hasn’t shown that it has the inner drive or temperament to “catch an opponent at the right time”.

Same here, I think the way Rkansas is playing right now, seems to me should be like -8.5, just a feeling from a X degenerate gambler that can pick winners often with no money involved. Ark- 77 LSU- 64
