GB Tiger09, now that the games is over:
Didn't know honesty would create such a violent reaction. Guess some people cannot handle the truth, ie your blind support for Les Miles. I'm sure you are very proud of the quality wins over Tennessee, NC, WV, Ole Miss, Vandy, Florida, Miss St, McNeese, and ULL .
I am a graduate and been supporting LSU for several decades. It is always my hope that LSU wins every game but I am not blind to the poor coaching, preparation, and game management shown by the football coaching staff managed by Les Miles for the past three years (or any other coach: Dinardo, Hallman, Stovell, and even Saban his last year). If you are happy with marginal wins over lesser teams, poor player management, poor game planning and clock management, then your the fan Les Miles needs. As for me, we owe the athletes that commit to my school better coaching, game mangement, and putting them in situations that allow our players to perform up to their potential, not what is forced on them by poor coaching.

Saban is 9-3,
Right. We could look good and still lose. I guess people would be fine with that?

Relax Crowton and Chavis's jobs are safe as long as Miles is here they have a job

Again, 10-2 isn't mediocre. You need to get your definitions straight.
Reminds me, Clemson/SCar and Ga/GaTech on next...

Well, you're entitled to your opinion no matter how back asswards it is.

Is LSU going to be in the top 10? No. With consistent top 5 recruiting classes I call that Mediocre.
I can't help that you're satisfied with less...I'm not.

I'd like to see more aggressive defense. Our guys have been coached to wait for the runner to get to them. Too conservative. Go after 'em.

We need a coach that can teach basic QB I
I absolutely agree with this. I don't think Jefferson is an All-SEC caliber QB, but we've seen glimmers of hope from him: a little bit today in the second quarter, the Alabama game, etc. I think he could be good enough to get us through next year if we can get someone here to help him out. We'll see if that happens, though.

Ranking recruiting classes just gives ESPN something to talk about. You just can't tell. 10-2 and a good win in a bowl can get them a top 10 ranking. Mettenberger. We need you.

I still say this game was lost because we couldn't finish a drive...kicking field goals instead of touchdowns. Get the ball on the 7 and not get a TD is a problem.
2 field goals = 6 points
2 TD's = 14 points
Difference = 8 points
What did we lose by? 8 points

No, that was a part of it. A bigger part was we missed two easy tackles on the long TD passes. On one the safety misjudged his angle and on the second he took out our corner.

Just when it comes to college football.

Field goals are ok in the SEC. Giving up two 80 yard touchdown passes is not.

If we don't at least get rid of Crowton I think the fanbase will have a collective embolism.
