Texas A&M and Arizona State will play a home-and-home football series in 2026 and 2027, the schools have announced.

The announcement will also require the rescheduling of Arizona State’s 2026 game with LSU to 2030, reports College Football Talk’s Bryan Fischer.

Welp LSU shite on again. I wonder what a competent AD would do about this?

The Katrina series was just lost. This is a new home and home completely (if/when it happens).

Herm Edwards gonna have a top 5 team returning trying to win their 4th straight National Championship. He has convinced the board of directors to change the name of the team from Sun Devils to Son Bearers in honor of his love for Jesus and the Christian faith.

Texas A&M fans on the SEC Rant were treating this as like a win for them, so I'll let them have their moment from this. They don't win much.

I went to the game after Katrina, it was awesome... I was around 25, it’s a shame I’ll be 50 when we can go back

Why? We have annual games in Houston and get to go to Starkville every other year.

Who needs Arizona or someplace new?

It's only a matter of time until this is cancelled or turned into a bullshite neutral site game.

Same. Best away game ever. Arizona State co-eds, ah-mazing.

My friend and I joked we'd be in our 30's next time we went back.....now it's 50

I have learned not to even really think about future schedules and opponents until about one year out. Just assume that any appealing non-conference match-ups will either be cancelled or moved to a neutral site, and be pleasantly surprised in the unlikely event that this doesn't happen. I just have a hard time getting excited, for example, about a supposed home-and-home with UCLA to be played in 2021 and 2024. Now, the home-and-home with Texas that is scheduled for 2019 and 2020 is getting close enough that it may actually come to fruition, but it still wouldn't stun me to see that become a neutral-site game in Houston. That's what happened a few years back when we were supposed to have a home-and-home with TCU--it became a single "neutral-site" game at Jerry World.

Our AD is a joke! He can’t even get a OOC schedule lined up.. Jesus we’re a big name program it should be a cake walk getting teams to agree to a Home and Home.

If they mess with the @UCLA game in 2021, I'll set fire to the AD building.

If I’m LSU AD and they try to push it out more I void it and find a new team.
