Well by LAW an 18 year old is an Adult and will be prosecuted as an Adult for crimes he/she commits.
An 18 year old can register to vote.
An 18 year old can be drafted into the Military.
An 18 year old can legally borrow money and buy a car, house, or whatever he/she chooses to sign their names for.
You are fuking clueless.

I think this kid probably has parents that are costing him a lot of draft position money trying to extort schools for whatever they can get. I would have big time off field concerns regarding Gilbert. Also I would also have big time concerns about him understanding NFL playbooks and concepts considering he cant even stay eligible taking the easy courses they surely hand picked for him to pass. At the moment there is not even film of him playing so well that he sticks out and should be a high draft pick if we are being honest.

And done almost nothing for either.
Right, he only had the second most receptions by a TE in a season in school history in only 8 games played...
Yet again Rob, you’re unable to separate the ability of a player from the other circumstances surrounding him. And before you just default to saying I’m “on his nuts”, he clearly has issues and I think it’s probably best that he’s gone from LSU at this point to not negatively affect the locker room, but you should be able to say that without defaulting to a stupid comment.

I feel like any team involved with this dude is going to get fricked by his tell-all story about CFB corruption when he's broke in 6 years.

Don’t matter for Arik because he still has to get his grades right haha

The NCAA is clearly now the NFL minor league. The very low academic standards mean any 4.4/40 can play D1.
It is getting to be basketball.
They might as well quit the charade of “student athlete” and spin these football teams off into separate entities that pay the colleges for use of their facilities.

One team, one podcast has rumor that Arik was requesting 400k to play.

Good riddance to him.
I'll be so glad to see no more threads about Gilbert.
Hopefully that will be very, very soon.

Yet again you attempt to manipulate reality. Gilbert had 368 yards and 2 TDs and quit after 8 games. The dude can't block worth a damn and apparently doesn't want to because he wants to be the slowest WR in the SEC instead.
The kid thinks he can match up with the Stingleys and Ricks or the World instead of being covered by a LB or a Safety. He is a coddled and overrated player who is apparently an "Attention Whore". He is gone and so what?
You can now go take your daily Midol.

Neither could Kyle Pitts and he isn't being covered by two of the best corners the nation every play. Kid is gone and seems to be for the best but to ignore the fact that he was a weapon is putting your head in the sand.

4.5 40yrd dash isn’t slow… for a 250lbs WR

Only problem is 247 lists Gilbert at 4.73 in the 40.
The myths spread about this kid are amazing.

I’d love for you to explain how I’m the one who was manipulating reality. I simply laid out facts. You’re the one who is for some reason incapable of saying the kid is supremely talented, but it’s also best that he’s gone. Both can be true...

I won't shed a tear if this kids body keeps hurting while in Georgia. However, I hope he gets the mental help he needs.
