Crunched some numbers. This is amount of walks we've drawn through the first 22 games of the season in recent years.

Another stat. Our OBP at this time last year was .378 compared to .375 this year. Yet we are hitting 27 points higher as a team compared to this point last season.

Honestly did he bang your girl? Wife? You have something against the guy. The only fault he has is defensive scoops at first. You are acting like he is hitting .200. I guess you still want .220 KRob in over him. How is this not bashing athletes? Thought they had a sticky about that.

Because there are others who seem more deserving compared to his subpar defense, lack of being a dynamic hitter, and underperforming at the one thing he's supposed to accell at: power hitting.
He is the only other player besides Bregman to start every single game. That seems very, very odd. So I bring it up here to discuss. If this were last year, he'd be fine playing with his numbers. But we have so many people hitting better who bring much more to the table. These aren't opinions. The numbers don't lie.
Btw, since you touted his BA w/ RISP he's only had 1 hit... And it didn't result in an RBI. We tried to tell you...

And since then he has raised his average to almost .300. Lmao. You used BA against him. Now what?
Let's look at k's. If KRob had the same at bats he is looking at 13-14 k's. If Byrd does he is looking at 30 k's. Chinea with 11.

Doesn't change anything with BA and K's vs the others who yall think should be playing. He goes 1-5 with a K and is still better. What's that say about the players yall want in?

I never used BA against him. Check all my posts. And Ks don't mean shite if you're still productive. OBP. Slugging. Being able to bunt, steal, stay out of double plays. Are all a part of the bigger picture.
And chi is middle/bottom of the pack looking at our top 10 hitters with little to offer on defense. Yet starts every game? When PM has done more shuffling of the infield than any other year. Some obviously specifically meant to keep Chi batting. It's odd.

No he's force feeding the kid. Maybe he sees something we don't get to see. But for the record I don't agree with any decision PM makes.

How many runs does Chinea produce? He's not driving in runs, he can't steal when he gets on, he can't score from first on a double, he doesn't bunt runners over.
