Not all players make great coaches

Most players would make terrible coaches... especially the good ones. It was the less talented players who had to work harder and study the game that became good coaches. It's not coincidence that catchers turn into coaches more than any other position. That had a lot more responsibility and had to know the roles of every spot. It also helped that they were in contact with the coach for every single play.

Guys what's the feeling on this Arkansas series? I don't know much about them this year except what I saw of them and Vandy. Played them tough and had a pitcher throwing a perfect game through 7 Saturday.

Ell if you played we played mid week once a year. A buddy would get a hotel room and about 5 of us would stay cause our coach didn't give a crap. So we partied that night.
Doubt may teams did that. Lol.

Hard to gauge them based on the fact that they have only played Vandy and played them tough 2 out of 3. My feeling, is we can/will take 2 of 3. They have Killian, who is a good pitcher. Nothing special this year though.

Astros preview will but tomorrow morning. It will have everything you need. Van Horn is a good coach. He'll have them ready regardless of what happened at Vandy and how many games they play this week.

Although sweeps in conference road series are tough I don't see why we wouldn't sweep them. I mean if we keep Chinea at 4 that is.
