Amazing the two coaches and myself who played all are laughing at the 4 talking about benching Chinea and how he is an under average first baseman. But yet the ones arguing were one inning playing little leaguers. Lol I'm out. Lsu fans are retarded.

Well the four MLB coaches I know, plus the three triple crown winners, plus my gold glove dad and don't forget my cy young winning uncle, all say that Chinea should bat 8th and they're laughing their asses off at you and your coach.

That's still in line up. So they make that point at least.

These dudes are wanting KRob playing over him.

I'd think most who played after high school also played junior high.

Look at ell line up. The one he thinks works best. Sit Chinea for KRob.

My one dissent would be with Sciambra in the OF. It's hard to argue with who we have out there now

Not disagreeing. I believe Sciambra was the fourth or fifth highest batting average in the fall. He should be in the mix...somewhere. He and Moore and McMullen alternated at DH as Sophomores. He should be in the mix for that position. And, he is pretty good at PH, too. History shows that he is good under pressure. Look, this is a talented team. Some players are favored and get to develop, like Stevenson, no matter what they do. Some are bench material from the time they arrive on campus. Life is not fair. I know this. But, what we see is only what the coach allows us to see. Our opinions are based upon what he promotes.

If we're exaggerating, I played college and started all four years. I caught, played 3B, LF, CF and was even a closer. I left with 4 different school records. Single season runs scored, single season stolen bases, career stolen bases, and saves. I'm on the all-decade (2000s) and "new-era" team. I've coached high school, but left. I still get called yearly for head coaching positions.

Again, since we're making stuff up.

Chinea's not really good defensively anywhere.
And I really don't know if Chinea should be dh or foster dh so krob could play 2B.
I'm glad I don't have to make that decision.
I know he wouldn't be cleaning up the top of my lineup at this point.

As long as Chi is batting 4th and not producing as well as others who are more suited for the job... it will live.

I'll also add that I was drafted in the top 4 rounds. Played 5 years in the minors making it as high as AA. I was a closer. My pitching was better than hitting but a ton.

Ah, the good old days.
