Expectations are not high. So, I'm not nervous. Not writing them off but it's nothing like last year. Offensive inconsistency coupled with depleting injuries, no one should expect much. Makes it the perfect spot for everything to come together with upset.

Not at all. Bama is the best team in 50 years to grace a football field and LSU has no offense.

I doubt I will ever be as nervous as I was for the BCSNC. Beating a team twice is difficult, bama had nothing to lose.

From the SEC rant I know you're a pathetic troll but ill answer anyway. Y'all don't run the ball near as good as last year.

Why would we be nervous? We have already beaten Saban's Bama teams many times. When it comes down to it, you're just another team. You're really good, but not some other level of team from LSU.

I think most here can say that.

The circle jerk at Tidefans makes the circle jerk on the TD Poli Board look like a solemn academic roundtable discussion of the fall of the Roman empire amongst turn of the 20th century Ivy League faculty.

Actually I think most Tiger fans are more ANXIOUS than they have ever been against Ala. Nervous? I think Ala. is the team that will be nervous come Sept. 3rd. Tiger nation has been anticipating this match-up since we got embarrassed on Jan. 9th.

Ala. is looking like the greatest team of all-time! We've heard that story line before haven't we. We all know how that turned out.

So to answer your ridiculous question we are not nervous at all. We are LSU. Our offense has been stuck in mud all season but always seems to get it together when it counts. If ODBJr. doesn't fumble against Fla. we're probably undefeated and ranked #1 or #2.

I'm glad you are over-confident after beating the crap out of teams that are below average. My only hope is that you are in as much shock as we were after BCS title game come Nov. 4th.
Geaux Tigers. Tiger Stadium awaits!

Hey OP, I think the visitors ought to be nervous about all the teabagging that's going to occur after we win. All Gumps and Gumpettes and Gumplits beware. It'll be Teabag city and not a frick will be given by the BR DA that day.

Oh, and Suck that Tiger Dick!

Bama has more to lose and more to prove, around the nation people are finally noticing Alabama's schedule. Although not Bama's fault some of the early opponents have turned out to suck, this will be y'alls first real game. LSU has played three tougher games than Bama has played. No doubt Nick will have them ready, should be much closer of a game than the experts are calling. LSU20 Alabama17

As much as LSU fans want retribution for 1/9, Alabama has much more to lose. We know the LSU offense has sputtered all year, and I accept that it is going to take 4 quarters of mistake free football to win.

I for one hope LSU wins in a crazy fashion that only Les Miles could create.

LSU has nothing to lose and everything to gain. If I was Bama, I would be worried.

This, I know Bama will probably win, therefore I'm not nervous. This is because I don't let a football team delusionalize my life by naming my kids Allie-Bama and Bear, showing up 4 days early and camping out for fan day, or committing domestic terrorism when a rival beats me

Hell no, Bama is vulnerable....I am, however, more nervous about LSU than I have been in some time.

No. I could honestly care less about this game. So much so that I sold my 50yl tickets for it.

I refuse to get worked up over a game that won't count if we win it. It is just a game and I hope it is entertaining. Last year's game that didn't count sure was.
