Technically you know more about your team and think maze is AJ.

What? Where did I say that? If you scroll up just a tad, you'll see that I admitted AJ is a good QB.

I said that Maze had a gimpy ankle and your "can't do no wrong coach" put him out there to field the punt. That's what I said.

I didn't compare him to AJ.

Funny you want to twist things around.

Nope. Our offense still sucks, Bama's is still good enough, both defenses are great. Almost a mirror image from last year and we left BDS with a W. There's not going to be a rematch this year so if Bama wants to hoist another trophy, they might want to make sure they take care of their business the first time instead of relying on their name brand and other teams dropping like flies for another chance. I think our defense is better than Bama's and hopefully this will go down as one of the loudest games in TS.

While Bama is playing a tough nosed and disrespected Mississippi State team, our team will be resting and watching.

I like our chances.

I was honestly more worried the week before the South Carolina game. If LSU lost that game they were probably looking at an 8-4 season. Now that LSU's 7-1 and still has everything to play for I'm feeling pretty good about LSU's chances at night in Tiger Stadium.

LSU's defense gives them a chance to win every game.

That was me wasn't it?

Finally, also to the OP. I'm not concerned about UA game. What I'm concerned about is LSU taking care of business to get to ATL and deal with UF. This club can beat anyone. They can also lose to about anyone.

the pressure on us compared to last year is nothing... After losing to bama in the national championship I have found that no loss will ever feel that bad again.

You apparentl missed portions of the 90's when LSU basically became everyone's favorite Homecoming 'Wyoming' game.

Solid pick by mo. I really don't remember it but that's no surprise.

What I do remember about that game is JJ keeping LSU in it with the option.

The few times we ran it? Ford would've scored a TD if he didn't step out of bounds.

Glad you still have Cody Mandel at kicker. He looked great against Tn.

Jarret wasn't going to get it done. All that preparation and success of the year and he was back to interceptions and the 'deer-in-the-headlight' look. It's now apparent why Zach didn't get the call. Unfortunately there wasn't a good option B for last game.

Yeah our punter Cody Mandel isn't much of a field goal kicker.

Foster and Shelly have both had a solid season for the most part.

Weird things happen in tiger stadium. After being there for the USCe game and being part of that mayhem, I have a better feeling about this squad's ability to pull out a crucial home game backed by a raucous crowd. I'm anticipating an all-time great crowd turnout and the building to be poppin. And that's when the magic happens

I think I was more worried about 2008. We had a suspect defense and Jarrett Lee was in the Pick 6 zone. Bama was #1. We took that to OT.

I don't expect a win on 11/3, but it is very possible. The defense is solid and will keep the score close. If we can muster enough offense...

The talent at both schools is equal. It all comes down to home field advantage and turnovers

I don't know how you can say that. It very well may be the case since no evidence exists to prove it either way, but when nothing else is working and time becomes a factor, you do something, anything, to win and the effectiveness of the offense earlier that season warranted a drive or two at least once we were down more than one score with Lee at the helm with aggressive play-calling. The fact that this didn't happen was a travesty. I wager that the majority of fans and the majority of the most staunch Miles supporters would agree with this.

They've lost a game and expectations are way less now than last year. Everyone has written this tiger team off for Nov. 3rd.

Actually, the nerves should be on Bama.......

Considering the night home game, revenge fresh in their minds, national "disrespect", and a talent level far superior to any of Bamas opponents to date, Saban and Co. know sharks are in the water. Logic has Bama as the obvious choice.......but the clouds are building and storms on the horizon.

I really have no idea what will happen. I do suspect Saban to throw an offensive plan completely different than anything we've seen at Chief ala 1/9. But, I also believe he will expect old fashion CLM offense.......Les will be more unpredictable this go around.
