I've honestly seen enough, Les may flirt with opening the playbook but when it gets down to nut-cutting he's going to go with what he knows and what he believes in.

Best case for me he finishes strong this year and retires gracefully. I honestly think he has some health concerns and really should.

I understand that Les Miles is your hero, but most people could see he has become below average... he's gone the Bobby Bowden, Mack Brown route.

He has to win the SEC and go to the playoffs to consider this season as a success. That's it. He's done too little with so much and it's now or never.

The fact that he thought it was OK to trot that offense out on the field at lambeau field is is enough to fire him for right now. They shouldn't have let him fly back with the team. Since they did and he was dragged kicking and screaming into the Etling era and the offense is improving. I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'm whatever. I'm focused on the season, team and enjoying and not going to let it ruin my life like a lot of fans on here. I'm over it for the time being but clearly it's time to go separate ways after this season.

It's gonna be fun (not really) when LSU plays the first real stiff competition. Not that most of the SEC teams left on the schedule aren't all stiff competition, but you know what I mean. Bama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, A&M. We'll see just how much Miles has allowed the offense to be more balanced then.

Les just needs to find a left tackle, and this time could compete for the sec title

No. I don't believe in Miles as a championship caliber coach anymore.

I love Miles as a person, as a leader of the program and for what he's done for LSU and the community since 2005. So I'd love nothing more than to see LSU turn things on, make a run at a title and have Coach Miles be beloved and celebrated again. I just don't think it's going to happen.

He's still a very good coach. He's consistent. Miles is going to pretty steady get you to 8, 9 and 10 wins. Problem is, in the era of modern college offenses...lesser teams have caught up to and in some cases passed Les Miles. Its gotten tougher to grind out a ball game on the ground and count on your defense to put hold their opponent to less than 20 points. College offenses as a whole are scoring more points. This is where the problem lies with Miles. He hasn't evolved along with the game. A modern offense has got to be able to score. You've got to be prepared to win a shoot out and Miles just hasn't consistently put together that kind of capable scoring threat.

Take a look at Alabama. That's the prime example of winning with defense. They've played elite defense under Saban. But in the last couple seasons, some of the better offenses they played were able to score on them. So you've got one of the premier defenses in college football and modern spread offenses are able to score on them. So Bama's offense has to keep up and play a shootout.

2013: A&M 568 yards 42 points Bama 628 yards 49 points WIN
2014: Auburn 630 yards 44 points Bama 539 yards 55 points WIN
2015: Clemson 530 yards 40 points Bama 473 yards 45 points WIN
2016: Ole Miss 527 yards 43 points Bama 492 yards 48 points WIN

And I bring up Bama not to be the LSU fan with the "BUT BAMA...." complex but because when we think Bama winning, we expect the game recap to be "Saban's defense suffocates opponent". But in fact, even the best defense in college football has run into games where they gave up a ton of yards and a ton of points but the offense managed to keep up and win a high scoring game. This is the reality of college football in 2016. This isn't Miles-ball where it feels as though we have to grind for every yard gained.

As I said, Miles abilities, philosophy and recruiting ability is enough to make LSU a very good team and to usually push for 10 wins. But with the way the game has changed combined with a lack of adaptation from Les, I don't see him among the elite coaches who can get you to 12 or more wins anymore.

I'm tired of watching uninspired football. It shows with the coaches, the team, and the fans. If you want LSU back on top, Les Miles needs to pack this things today.

The closed-minded blame Les for the second half of the MSU game and give him no credit for the first half.

Hell no. My dream would be us winning out and Les retires immediately afterwards.

The reason I wanted Les hone last year was because LSU didn't have a QB better than any opponent we played.

That will however be a recruiting screwup.

Also the play calling sucked and they can't evaluate QBs.

They still think BH is second best. He is not.

Starting QB issue has been resolved and cam is now calling the plays.

So I am ok with keeping him.

Hell no. It took a season opener loss to unranked Wisconsin for him to make some changes. He is a stubborn man who I believe is more concerned about paying homage to Bo than being smart/creative on offense.

The miss st game did show me however that he's seemingly given the reigns back to Cameron and letting him run the offense for the most part. It's wide open compared to the last 5 years. RB passes? WR passes? Surprised the hell out of me.

No. Les must go, even if LSU wins out. I"m not tolerating Les Miles the coach any more.

I never left it. I'm not saying it's the best bandwagon, but I'll take the whole crazy package.

That being said, my opposition to moving on took a hit with the Wisconsin game. I also had a similar moment after the Dumb and Dumber game against Tennessee a few years back.

9-3 with Bama win or 10-2 with Bama loss = Les definitely returning.

I'm not... Beating a bad miss state team proved nothing to me.... Beat AU, FLA, Ole Miss, aTm and ARKY....then might be a consideration... I'll give him a pass on Alabama....
