I don’t care if he threw 2 INTs against Southern in limited action this season. Nor would I care if he had thrown 2 TDs in a game against Southern in limited action. It doesn’t mean much. Go look just how bad Daniels was against Arkansas. 86 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT That is a QBR of 10. That’s likely another loss on top of Aggie if their starting QB played. You might think oh well he rushes too. He had 10 yards rushing on 19 carries. I wonder how people would feel about Daniels if we dropped that Arky game. Nuss was on pace for 4 Tds 2 ints versus Georgia. I would take that over the Arkansas game. I believe he can improve with reps, but that doesn’t mean Nuss is my preference. I would happily take closer to 35-40 passing TDs in a season if it meant 15 or so INTs over 16 ish TDs and 3 INTs. See DeShaun Watson’s senior season. That’s just a preference. I don’t know that Nuss can do that, but no one really knows how he’d do with more reps. I do believe he can continue to improve though.

Then your conclusion makes you an irrational person. You ignore the bad games Nuss had in favor for his one halfway decent game against a team that was up huge and platings soft as baby shite defense.

Hey, if you don’t mind being an irrational person who attempts to make bold proclamations with zero actual evidence to back up your claim, that’s your business. Thankfully you aren’t the one calling the shots for LSU. We’d probably be still stuck with Orgeron and playing for last place in the SEC with Vandy.

My guess is he broke a team rule like curfew or something like that. Got suspended for the Bowl game. And then declared for NFL over it. Just a guess, but I would say much more probable than all this Daniels nonsense.

What was Daniels on pace for then? His numbers were just as good against Georgia. Daniels had the pick, but that might as well be on Jack Bench.

Pretty impressive throwing for nearly 300 yds and 2 TDs in 1 half vs a team dropping 7 in coverage and no threat of a run against the best D in CFB.

I don’t even remember but judging Nussmeier based on that game with that game flow makes for an incomplete eval

These dumbasses can’t comprehend that. All they saw was “muh deep throw that gets me all excited” and think that’s what makes someone a good QB. Damn the interception.

I'm sure that there was a lot of back and forth involved. The simple-minded aspect would be to think that Daniel's return played zero role in the decision. Kids now view everything as a business decision, as the NCAA has allowed all of football to be about money now. Even with the announcement, I am sure that he still deliberated with many and struggled with the decision. The reason it isn't too hard to fathom that Daniel's return aided in his decision to leave, is because he cannot improve a draft stock playing with a QB who refuses to throw the ball down field. A QB who runs too much, only throws short passes near the LOS, and one that took the 4th most sacks of any QB in college football, will do him no favors.

I bet you now use the phrases “fake news” and “woke” constantly too.

To be fair, the English speaking world IS awash in yellow journalism and government propaganda. “Fake news” is a juvenile term for the phenomena….but it’s certainly apt.

Oh you mean the last guy I chose not to jump to any conclusions about one way or the other? The one I specifically said I wasn’t taking any side until I got full information on it?

I suppose he’s doing alright for himself. Haven’t given him much thought. It seems you have though.

Of course it is. It’s about money. It’s always been about money. It’s just now anytime anything comes out that doesn’t align with some peoples biased ideology they immediately call it “fake news” regardless if the information is factual or not. They don’t even bother to actually research it themselves and just take “their guys” word for it as long as “their guy” is preaching what they want to hear. The left and the right are guilty of this. It’s why I consider myself and independent.

Boutte was on academic probation. The semester ended after the SEC Championship game.

It was Orgeron's fault when Emery flunked out.
Now whose fault is this?
All that talk about leaders and holding folks accountable, I guess some heads will roll over this.
