We are looking at having a freshman place kicker. You can call that ok I guess.

Connor Culp, Josh Growden, Cameron Gamble, Jack Gonsoulin - I think those guys will be just fine...Culp is going to be a very good one IMO

As to why Delahoussaye was brought back and not Domingue...I have no idea

Was Colby's scholarship renewed or did he decide to stay on as a walk on?

Pretty sure Colby stayed as a Walk-On and Trent was unwilling to do the same.

Well it's the only way to see if a person is good at football. Duh..

I hope Kolby takes the job and runs with it - a senior who loves LSU and just went through hell.

That's what I thought. Not sure why people are hinting that Colby got the spot over Trent here then.

Because Colby out kicked Trent in the off season. Colby has missed ONLY ONE charted kick all season.... He kicks a higher ball than Trent (less risk of being blocked) .... should have never lost the job in the first place. Missed two balls in that Arkansas game ... One was 45yds. Frozen ball is like kicking a brick. The following week at aTm he has something blow in his eye on approach and hooked the ball. Even with those misses, he is the 2nd most accurate kicker in LSU history

Close. Les told them he was prioritizing the scholarships to the juniors who stayed and that he was going to "try" to allocate ONE scholarship to whoever won the job. Colby out kicked Trent and won job but he may or may not get a scholarship this year.

Kicking the ball out of bounds with the game on the line was enough me to see him packing. Hell, he damn near fumbled the game winning fake against Florida. Les made the right choice imo. Good luck at Texas.
