I don't see a lot of heart and soul in this team. I see a bunch of guys collecting paychecks and the only 2 guys supplying any heart are out.
Coaches don't see it either, that's why they have the "no confidence" game plan. You see the "play not to lose", punting on 4th and 1 foot, the bend don't break zone, keep everything in front D. Then we lose.

We need some heart and soul and SWAGGER. We need Whit, Spears and TD back. We need more La born players that play for something more than a paycheck.
We need super competitive players and coaches. We thought we had all this, plus elite players . That's not what I saw at UK and OM. Out of 139 DI programs, as of this morning Sam is ranked #97. Brothers, that is not elite - that's what was available in Dec 2025. Turnover machine that cost us both games.
Maybe all the D needs is Whit and Spears back, but the soft zone, bend/break nonsense has to go. That's how you lose in the SEC.
You don't build a culture and character out of this - you build a loser.
UK displayed just the opposite - they go for 2, we didn't. We punted on 4th and 1 ft. That is not how you build a culture of finishing and winning. Our coaches have no confidence or conviction in this team

It is like putting for a golf tounament win. You have a 15ft putt on 18. You are not going to sink that putt without a ton of conviction in your read and alignment. If you don't have it, backoff and read it again. Step up and re-align. Feel the confidence and conviction before you pull the trigger. You are just not going to win without it. Lane and Baker don't have conviction in the putt and they are missing the target.

Lane needs that firmly held belief that Sam is going to hit the open guy in the end zone or that Seaton is going to pancake. I'm not a coach, but when Bert Jones or Hodson dropped back , I had no doubt the pass would be on target and caught.. That's what Lane needs to work on. The dude has no confidence and his body language reflects that. Lane, we are not paying you to be a doubter. Let O give you a pep talk.

With how college football can just snowball in positive and negative ways, it's not insane to think we can do it. Get your first technically ranked win this week, get the road game monkey off your back next week, have a bye to get healthy (specifically getting Whit and Trey'dez back), and then come play 2 super highly anticipated home games against Bama and Texas.

If we're healthy by November 7 and the vibes are high, I could see this team having a November similar to Auburn 2017 if you remember that. 2 losses going into November, but they got hot and beat the breaks off of #1 Georgia and then #1 Alabama at home. Something clicked, and they were suddenly the best team in the country (at least in Jordan Hare) until Kerryon Johnson got hurt.

It is Sankey, his cronies and some SEC AD’s. Look at the Will Wade situation. Wade has already backed off the Ruiz ordeal and waved the white flag a few times but Sankey still is leading a SEC office crusade against him.

Boy I sure don't see it this way. I see guys that are making a ton of money from the portal like Dottery, Benefield, and Princewill playing hard as hell flying all over the place. Leavitt has been putting his body on the line all season, Dilin Jones plays tough as hell, and several wide receivers have put their neck out to go make plays over the middle of the field. Jackson Harris's TD where he took what should have been a targeting call this past weekend is a good example.

The cloud coverages on the last drive to send it to OT forced them to play on their heels, which I'm thinking you're mistaking for a lack of heart/swagger/confidence. That's just them being put in bad positions to make plays in my opinion.

Go get a win this Saturday, go get a win on the road in Jordan Hare. Learn how to win under pressure.

I think there is a solid chance we win the next two - then drop the last 4 (or at least 3 of the last 4).

I've watched the team. Have you?

This is undoubtedly the stupidest shite I’ve read on here in a long time. Dude, seriously, you can’t be serious that you’re literally sitting there saying that one person is figuring out how to tank LSU football games? Your brain is seriously flawed if you think this way. Like he can he just will it out of the air or wave a magic wand and make us lose? You sound like such a silly, stupid sports fan

You’re stupid as frick if you’ve been following the shite that the SEC has been doing lately and you still think that Sankey and at least some SEC ADs and/or presidents aren’t trying to make an example of us.

We’re winning at least four

I think we split bama and Texas (they did lose to Oklahoma)

Were beating MSU, Auburn, Tennessee and Arkansas,
