If Wade has done what is alleged. Alleva has no clue what happened or is happening.

Not sure yet, but we are definitely guilty of a lack of institutional intelligence.

Yes. You don't think those people running money for players haven't rubbed elbows with Alleva and F. King at least a couple hundred times since they've been at LSU?

Jarell Martin and Tim Quarterman were paid under Alleva's watch. You tell me.

Depends on the definition.

Some would say guilty of institutional control.

I believe that is what LSU is trying to avoid; keeping everything in house, hanging Wade out to dry as a way to appease their NCAA overlords.

Lack of institutional control is not necessarily just because a coach of a team cheated. It is when they cheated and the NCAA can prove that not only did the administration know about it but were complicit in it.

Right now LSU is making it look like they had no knowledge of Wade doing anything wrong and the moment they found out that he may be doing something wrong they took action (Wade’s suspension). They could absolutely know everything he did and are covering for themselves. I think it’s kind of an unwritten rule that schools are ok with AD’s and coaches bending the rules but if you get caught you are on your own.

Reports of potential shady stuff involving Wade have been around all season. It wasn't until the wiretapped phone conversation came out that LSU admin went into panic mode and suspended him.

That's precisely what they are trying to prevent.
