So happy for the guy! He waited his turn when he could have easily transferred. Dude loves his home state. Hope he continues to ball out and prove those who doubted him wrong!

He's good enough to get what is there. He won't make many plays on his own, but he is serviceable. I'd rather he be our second back than our bell cow to be honest.

That being said, I still want to see more from CEH. Not sure Brosette can feature against a stout SEC schedule.
Are you crazy? CEH is too small. They'll throw him around like a rag doll. He's like Trindon Holliday without the speed. Doesn't end well when there's contact.
From what I've seen, Brossette has been able to make his own yards when holes are not there. Someone posted a stat a couple of days ago about Brossette's leading the conference in broken tackles.

He is a good - not great back. I want to more of Curry.

I think his ability to pick up a block in the protection scheme is one of my favorite things about him.

You have a better option?

I think he's a better back than we expected. I don't think he's a superstar, but those are extravagances, honestly. He's definitely good enough to keep the defense honest.
If he can get around 80 yds vs Auburn, we're in the game. Less, and we're probably in trouble. Over 100, and they're probably in trouble.

Aggy I work with asked me where the hell did he come from. Guy didn't know he was a senior. I told him he just had to wait his turn

he proved to be very productive even with little to no blocking at all so i say he earned his #1 role
as for the others, they did little to nothing with the poor line play we had so maybe they can show good production with decent line blocking, only time will tell on that

When we face a tough run defense I think Curry is likely to be the man. Auburn would be the first, but I doubt he’s ready yet.
Look, I don’t think Brossette is a top 5 SEC RB, but he’s good enough. Like Orgeron and Ensminger have been saying, our studs are at wideout. We better start getting them the ball.

J Chase is the truth..if you’re not sold yet you will be soon. I’m sold enough on Brosette to think he’s the best we’ve got right now.

From what I've seen so far he looks like a very patient runner and decently strong back, just not great breakaway speed.

but is he going to continue having the big games?
Who knows ?

Is he a perennial LSU stud running back?

I'm trying to convince myself that this guy is capable of being the workhorse that we expect out of a backfield that has produced so much talent the last 20 years.
Why?

Am I the only one that feels like I have to convince myself of this?
You don’t have to “convince yourself” of anything.
-- There’s Brossette
-- There’s CEH
-- There’s Curry
That’s what we have.
How well will they do? We don’t know. Nobody knows.
We just roll with what we have.
Best advice I can give you ?
Stop worrying; there’s nothing you can do anyway.
Crack a cold one, and sit back, and put up yer feets.
Experience the ride.
And love the team, no matter what you think of the coaches.

Not just the SEC -- the entire P5.
Of course that's as of last week.
This is the kind of stat that can fluctuate wildly over the course of an entire season . . .

It's obvious he's below Fournette and Guice talent wise, but he does have talent that could easily go over 1000 this year averaging over 5 a carry. Right now he's doing it without an inkling of a passing game, so I'm excited for him.
I do expect the light to come on for Helaire and Curry later so he won't be the guy that has to run 25 times a game, but I still think he'll be effective when that happens.
