Unless things change, LSU might be in trouble.

We’ve been making contact but the fielding and, more importantly, positioning has been killing us. 3 double plays yesterday with runners in position.

Sometimes these attam hits correct to openings right away and sometimes they turn into slumps. We’re in a slump with timely hitting.

It isn’t the umpires fault. UNC pitching just shut them down.

The umpires have been dirty in both UNC games.

LSU has to focus and play great defense and not allow the intentional calls to bother them. Keep chopping wood.

UNC gave up a ton of hard-hit balls. To the OP's point, UNC was in the right spots

We needed the USC third baseman to be on these teams, and he didn’t use the portal… All kidding aside, in this region, we are the worst fielding team, and we aren’t playing bad. Jones holding on to that double play ball and we are right there with them…

Lol, no. Actually based on fielding percentage we are the best team, or close to tied with wofford

Keep in mind that what you saw until the finals vs UT in Hoover was a lot of 2nd and 3rd line arms. That’s the main reason why LSU raked last week.

LSU lacked timely hitting yesterday. Plenty enough opportunities.

Hitters have been hot and cold all year. Going to have to wait until next year to fix that

At best our bats are ok against mid level pitching. Against top tier pitching all bats suck. The SEC tournament was against so so pitchers.

That's b/c they don't rule it an error when you miss a ball at the fence like Bingham and Larson have each done in this series. Both of those should have been caught but they get ruled hits. Kind of like the misplayed ball Brown had against Tennesee. Our OF is not helping the pitching and they've combined for 2 hits in three games (3 hits if you spot Bingham the hit ruled an error against Tenn.)

This is who lsu was all year long. The SEC tourney was the exception, not the rule.

We faced the same quality arms as we did in the sec tournament. We really haven't faced any teams ace. Non of that shite matters it's all on us. The pitcher doesn't matter. There's no way to know whether we will hit or not, we hit starters good in the sec and then struggled against releivers . It's a coin flip whether or not we will hit

We hit Hagan Smith better than woffords 3 ..everyone we saw in the sec tournament was better than woffords 3 .
I mean yeah, there are guys that are gonna be harder than others to hit obviously but it's pretty random for the most part whether or not we hit, this season.
