Are there any signs that Cfb will get better?

Curious. I don’t keep up with the politics of the sport as much as I maybe used to. Are things going to get better, and will our sport be resuscitated?

Considering Indiana won a national title I would say its pretty strong.

What’s broken which is significant will never be completely fixed. I can’t see a return to 2019 type team building. The product on the field is better than ever with more good players on different teams. I just can’t get myself to GAF as much as I have for 50 years. But that’s just me.

The universities wanted parity and we're closer than ever before with Vandy beating LSU and Bama. We also have a first time natty winner in Indy, so the sport is thriving.
The fans don't like the athletes being paid, but things are looking good.other than that

Let's see how this goes when some former NFL players decide to have some retirement fun playing against college kids.

Two things still need to happen to restore some type of balance for programs.
Transfer portal needs to be adjusted in some way. Whether that's limiting to one free and then sit out a year or something in that realm. But every year being free agency for your entire roster really isn't fair to anyone.
And then there needs to be some sort of salary cap on incoming Freshman. Similar to the NFL's rookie contracts. We should be rewarding players that have already proven themselves at the college level before throwing out massive bags to "what if" 5 stars.

What your talking about sounds like a CBA. And yes, THAT is the only thing that will return things to some semblance of fairness.
Only the schools that are serious should/will be included in this. Basically the top 30-40 AT MOST.

You have FCS and now time to separate the FBS. the days of Boise and other group of 6 teams being able to compete at a national level are long gone with the new set up. Just eating up playoff spots with participation trophies and I enjoyed rooting for the underdogs Boise in the 2000s
