With the JJ and O comparisons? Being the head coach in football and baseball are pretty different. Outside of hair and skin color and having names and a national championship to those names, I can’t really understand where you people are coming from? JJ was doing great as a head coach and that’s why lsu went out and got him. I was not a good head coach anywhere other than 2 stints as an interim coach. O is just a hype man. He gave us 2019 and should forever have our thanks and maybe more, but we don’t have to lie about where his limitations were. JJ has proven it at 2 universities and is months removed from a national championship. He brought his best player from Arizona and went out and got us great players as well. JJ is coach O+ at the very least and is continuing to separate himself while O is going the other way.

A lot of people, due to their limited intellect, are unable to think critically.

Many of them post here. Honestly it might be a bit mean to keep calling them out because they can’t help it.

Of course.... this board is filled with people who spout uninformed opinions. It's a dumb comparison. I don't like a lot of the decisions JJ has made this season, but I do believe he will get it back on track. It was obvious that O won the natty and quit giving a shite. No one is going to outwork JJ to fix this.

Agreed. Coach O benefited from letting Aranda run the team. Dave actually organized everything. O was a figure head leader like the King of England.

JJ is snake bit this year. The team has been very close against the best in the country but the W/L record looks like crap.

If you don’t wanna give O credit for 2019 then you can’t criticize him for 2020 & 2021

Half of our fan base aren’t serious people but you can’t tell them. Lots of Columbia PFG’s would be flying off

if you’re not doing your full job and it works great

if you’re not doing your full job and it doesn’t work that’s a problem.

I give him credit for letting Aranda run the team and staying out of the way. It is the only reason Aranda didn’t leave for A&M. IYKYK.

There is a reason it all went to $hit when Aranda left for Baylor.

Mississippi State and Ole Miss crashed and burned the year after they won the CWS. The same is happening to LSU. The explanation isn't difficult; veteran, talented teams win championships. Young teams don't. State has recovered somewhat. Ole Miss hasn't.

This team has a few young players with promise, so they hopefully will mature and develop, but LSU will need to supplement the roster with experienced transfers who pan out for next year to be much different from this year.

When Jay Johnson says he is going to run the Skip Bertman offense I will start to worry.
