Are LSU fans cheering for Auburn or South Carolina tomorrow?

I've got this one penciled in as a win-win situation, but mark me down for Oot Oot Go Cocks

I always enjoy some good chaos for the BCS, and man would there be some of that if the Gamecocks win.

But if worse comes to worst, I wouldn't mind an AU/UO title game. Either AU makes it 5 straight NC's for the SEC, or Oregon wins it. Regardless, LSU would be assured of getting to play the defending national champs next year, whether that would be Auburn or Oregon.

South Carolina. The debacle regarding Cam Newton did me in with Auburn, unfortunately.

I agree with the win-win analysis, but I still say Go Cocks!

For those keeping score at home , this is the 6th. The over/under by game time Sat. was set at 17. I still have the over!

au, that is the SEC's best chance to continue to dominate the college football world of crystal balls. A victory by usce does nothing more than send us to a crappier bowl. au winning, & getting to the championship game, does WONDERS for the SEC's perception as the most powerful in all of college football. Next year, when the tcu's, boise's, & utah's of the world are all yapping about how great they are & how "tough" their schedules are, I think it would be hard to argue with ANY SEC teams sos if the crystal ball comes back to the SEC for the 5th time in as many years (especially LSU who plays all 3 of the other teams to have won NC's this decade, 2 belonging to LSU).

South Carolina.

But if Auburn wins against USC, I will be pulling for them against Oregon.

I think one of the best arguments for a playoff would be if a non-AQ managed to sneak into the NC and just get absolutely destroyed so I'll be rooting for SC so we can get that TCU/Oregon game.

I always root for the underdog, and I'm not a SEC homer. Could care less if we get a team in the BCSCG.

If auburn loses then that takes away the recruiting threat that they would impose after. NC victory.

If auburn wins, it will make our dominance known to the dumbass who font know by now that the SEC>>ALL and our recruiting out of Texas will become easier.

Win-Win situation at a recruiting factor, and frankly that's the only concern of mine.

All this "pull for the SEC to win the BCS" is misguided. Nobody in the real world thinks Cam and Auburn didn't cheat. Auburn winning it would be a stain on the SEC's reputation, so if you care about this "my conference uber alles" crap, you should hope Auburn never gets there.

South Carolina 100%.

I prefer to root for teams that don't have to cheat to win anything of significance.

Geaux other Tigers...SEC all the way. I heard someone on ESPN comment yesterday that even if Auburn were to lose a close one to USCe that they could sneak into the BCSNCG due to their SOS and because, well...they're from the SEC
