TCU played Clemson BYU and Utah. Wow.

LSU didn't beat a team as good as those three. Closest would be Auburn.

Boise is a well coached, disciplined football team that hustles. I was watching that 330 lb defensive lineman, a frosh who started. The kid from Hamilton Ontario. Played textbook defense up front, betcha he was lightly recruited.

Boise has a common opponent with LSU. Boise fared better.

Great point. With our coaching staff we just beat La Tech.

Maybe. My point is that we don't really know this.

And I don't think any of those teams are as good as Auburn or Georgia. Clemson sure isn't.

And if Boise plays UF, Ala, Ole Miss and Penn State along with Miss St., UGA, Auburn, and Arkansas, I will never be convinced they don't have four losses. And I don't think they play Alabama or Florida close at all.

Why does this fact escape you idiots?

couple of questions:

1. What's the excuse next year? He will be a VETERAN QB........

2. Is our oline = BSU's? Not yet......they too (as a unit) will be VETERANS next year.

The excuses stop in 2010.

Boise State and TCU are prime examples of what coaching up can do. A great coach can take lesser talent and mold them into great players. We have greater talent being, I don't know what to even call what is happening with our talent other than being wasted.

Did you notice TCU's last drive with clock running out and no time outs left - They ran a play that got a first down - and while the clock was stopped to move the chains - TCU was able to signal a play in, have everyone on the field get the correct call, have everyone lined up correctly, and snap the ball as soon as the clock started again.

That startled me as to how poorly LSU has been coached.

Both TCU and Boise were clearly way better coached than LSU.

I don't think that they are better, just better coached and get the most out of the talent they have. I would have still liked to see both boise and tcu play against Florida or GA Tech. My question is why Boise's head coach isn't getting no love from major universities. I think he would be an excellent hire!

I think the smart type players that we saw playing last night are the kind that Crowton is used to coaching. He is having a hard time coaching down his system to the players at LSU.

One game at the end of the season they maybe, this year they are.
To fairly compare them Boise would have to play in the SEC all year and see how they hold up or LSU play in their conference.
Boise and TCU teams are very good but they really dont have game stress thru the year. Clemson is not a quality win.

The really depressing thing is that it looked to me like anybody on Boise St. offensive or defensive line are better than what we have

TCU's line would shove our defense around like little girls. The TCU line is much better than LSU's.

The MWC skull-fricked teams this bowl season...good teams. And TCU absolutely crushed that conference. And Boise beat them.

Both of those team are very good. If you can't see that, you are blind.

If LSU played 10 games against each, LSU would lose 7-8 each, IMO.
