I'd be surprised if he went that high if the draft were today.

Arden Key still has one more year of eligibility left. What's the hurry at 21 years of age? Jesus, some of you fans think someone needs to take off for the Not For Long league as soon as they have a breakout year as an underclassman.

Based off of the poor play this year, and possible personal issues that led to his time off, he's a bottom 1st right now. He's works hard and has a great combine, the NFL will forgive and he still has a chance to go 11-20. Top five is out of the question unless he really turns it on the rest of the season.

If he runs well it doesn't matter

You obviously don't follow the NFL draft

??, it's not the fans. He has a rare skill that pays extremely well in the NFL. That it's "not for long" is precisely why someone like Key that's projected to go high in the first as Key is, he should go as soon as possible.

If McShay shows that Key dropped to a 2nd or 3rd round pick. I garauntee his arse would play like an All American by Ole Miss

They also take character into consideration. If they think he has mailed it in he won't go as high

Character like does he beat women or sell drugs. Some teams may question his work ethic but overall his talent will get him drafted high. You guys are looking at it like butt hurt college fans.

He should have an offseason dedicated to football preparation and then go to draft following year

He’s not helping LSU at the moment. But I haven’t seen anything dropping his draft stock yet. He will test off the charts at the combine and still likely go in the first round IMO. See Danielle Hunter who didn’t have much hype, but still went in the third.

He'll go to the combine and the scouts eyes will pop out of their heads. He's not dropping out of the first round.

If he keeps playing like he has 3rd round is a real possibility. First two round picks are too valuable. You start taking chances in the third. Clowney mailed in his last year but he still showed something each game that reminded you how good he was. Key, not so much.

He's easily still a top 10 pick. He could have possibly been #1 had he produced at the same level he did last year.

Folks thinking he will fall out of 1st round due to character issues and/or mailing it in must have forgotten about Jadaveon Clowney. Arguably the laziest player during his JR year most have ever seen. Well publicized that he could care less about his final year at USCe.

This also is not true. Pro teams don't care too much about productivity in that sense. An nonQB going #1 is more dependent on je quality of QBs available
