Philly,

sorry i couldn't back you up earlier lol. Brian said that they woke up at 6am yesterday and ran 110 yds 26 times. These boys are trying to get RIGHT for the season opener. Also i made a booboo earlier...Brian runs a 4.45 not a 4.42 As much credit as I wana give him i have to keep it real 1st and foremost. Also, they don't start two-a-days for a month. Are you coming down for the game?

Its possible, but I think it may be deeper, but not better as a whole IMO. These coaches that say it is better certainly aren't going to say "our Dline sucks compared to last years"

Here's the point: Alexander and Francois would have started last year. One was hurt, one was suspended. Therefore we played the season with 2 2nd string linemen. Now those 2nd string linemen have valuable experience. Plus, our 2 starters are back. I know we lost Dorsey, but in spite of that we SHOULD be better this year on the DL.

Something tells me they won't be putting the 2008 LSU game score on their rings at the end of the year

I'll take a loss at LSU and another NC trophey/ring for App any day!!

No matter what the score is at LSU...

One thing to realize you will probably not win and take heart in playing the defending national champs of a higher division close, it is another to talk smack only to hide behind the whole AA nature later.

That is all.

who's hiding? it is what it is. its not wrong to call something by its name. app is not IA and prolly wont be for another 15yrs. personally i dont mind. good football is good football and i really do love playoffs. of course it doesnt matter to you or most of college ball.

ya damn right im talking shite because there is a very good possibility ya'll might lose to what is generally considered an inferior team.

Your D-Line WILL be better b/c you have so many playmakers in the rotation. BUT, Armanti can beat your guys out the pocket with his legs 90% of the time. What sucks for him is that you guys have the best D-line in the best conference

Thank you, that is what I was trying to get across. And hey, I agree with you about AE. I definitely believe that he will break containment, especially due to some over-pursuits. We just need to stay disciplined and try to contain him. He will get his share of yards. We need to stop the HR.

I find it amusing that any LSU fan would even care about the ring design. You've got a Sears crystal trophy...Sweet!

You boys need to focus on your SEC schedule and quit worrying about App. Everyone recognizes the superior talent, program, money and fan base of LSU. What a season. A NC and two losses with a combined 6 OT's. I can see easily 40 points on the board against APP, it's just a question whearther we score or not. While App is a better team than last year, I think coming off the NC LSU is even better than last year.

Of course, I see the same comments in previous posts for every opponent you face, so I don't feel particularly picked on. You have every right to believe that we will get crushed and its hard to disagree with you.

There won't be any HRs unless Armanti can throw a 50 yd bomb to my 6-5 brother, b/c it damn sure won't happen with one of the running backs. No one is getting BEHIND that defense, even if its the 1st game and they have a few miscues. In my eyes a HR will be a 15 yd qb scramble on a defense like this

True, but my point is that if you are gonna go for moral victories/AA shields, that kinda precludes you from talking trash.

I agree with you Volvagia.

Appalachian is past the days of the moral victory crap.

I drove 13 hours to the Michigan game expecting a Mountaineer win. I will drive the 14 hours to Baton Rouge expecting a win as well.

The new clock rules should make the depth difference close to a non factor.

You don't have room to throw this comment in here unless you see LSU fans REGISTER on an App sports site. In this case the pot is calling the kettle black

Well, what I meant by HR was AE breaking one.

Sit on their hands?

I'm guessing you weren't watching the Florida or Auburn game this past season, but I'll go ahead and tell you that sitting on our hands was not what we were doing.

And to continue to hammer home my point.

Francois

"There's no doubt in my mind," says one AFC scout, "if (Jean-Francois) stays out of trouble and plays at a high level like he did in those two games, he could develop into the No. 1 overall pick in the draft."

I also truly believe that Tyson Jackson will be a first round draft pick next year.

I agree, if he plays at That level throughout a season he would be a high draft pick. He could also have more off the field problems.
Tyson Jackson could end up a 1st rounder, but he isn't rated that way now, im sure you guys all had early Doucet as a 1st rounder before last season too. Sometimes it just doesn't work out that way.

It was grades, at least, and not behavioral. He straightened his act up and really seems more mature. I don't see him slipping up in the classroom anymore.

You are right about this, I'll give you that. The Jackson comment is truly only my opinion. I just believe that he is ready this year to step up his game and shine.

I'll be there, we have 4 tickets. I hope to see you. Are you going to Fanfest?

I heard AWilson lost 18 pounds 272 lbs and gained muscle. We are looking 8-9 deep on D-Line.

LB are looking fast and tough.

DB's are the question but having Riddle back as possible starter with Cortez will help me sleep better
