I guess these App guys don't remember the 24-0 shutout in 2005 (the first year they won their high school national championship).

I remember it well. My family was planning on going to the game, had tickets and everything. Then Katrina hit. Like the team, our hotel reservations were cancelled. Unlike the team, we were not able to do that as a day trip. So, yes, you beat us, as you were supposed to. But we made it a lot more interesting than expected, even without figuring in that our team had to drive a couple of hours to the airport, fly down, get to the stadium, play the game and then fly home. I was VERY proud of how our team performed.
Now, this year I am going to the game. I am going with the same expectations and hopes that I had when I went to Michigan. I want a good, well played, game with no injuries. Keep it close and keep it fun.

Maybe so, but one player, "The Man" Armanti has not! Here's a small clip of a playoff game last December where he accounted for 7 touchdowns and over 495 yards.

I don't think you remember it well.

The LSU radio broadcast... I remember was saying that it should have been tied entering the 4th quarter...we squandered a couple of easy scoring chances..

The Tigerdroppings message board... I remember.. was thanking God that the rest of the country would only see the final score, and not know how close the game was.
(It would have hurt any Nat'l Championship hopes to know that the #4 team in that nation was in a close game with a I-AA team)

So yes... I remember the last time we played...I doubt that you will want to remember this years meeting.

Oh yeah...I love that place! And if you are ever in the mood for lots of home-cooked food, go to Daniel Boone Inn. That's some good eatin. A little expensive, but great.

Question: Where was the tooth brush invented?

Answer: Louisiana. If it had been invented anywhere else it would have been called a TEETHbursh.

Might want to talk the moonshine ramble to the OT lounge.

This board is for LSU sports...not Appy writing skill classes....

Uh,,,exactly how do you "talk" something to a lounge? We can talk about something at a lounge,,,or we can take something to a lounge. This whole thread was started by an LSU fan who had the good sense to leave BR and come up to God's country in the mountains of NC and happened to run into an ASU fan. And when this fan showed her ASU pride, he became somehow offended, as if he expected people up here to be tiger fans. So, if you are so concerned about your writing skills,,maybe you should also come up here for some instruction. A good many of your Fla brothers are up here this time of year. We refer to them as Floridiots.

gonna be some pissed off APPS if AE gets hurt!

It's football dude! No one wants any player hurt in the game, except possibly Tommy Tuberville. You guys are playing out of your league, no pun intended, and your team will be physically beaten. If your QB get's hurt and you get pissed off I suggest you not get pissed off inside or outside of Tiger Stadium. Save your anger for the long trip back to Virginia. Here's to a good game

Are you serious?

Not only is it lame, but you're talking about edentulous people and deliverance-type expressions coming from Louisiana? You're from the hills of North Carolina right? Dude, I think you got it backwards.

Im from Ashevlle, NC as well and a huge tiger fan. And yes im going to the game. My cousin has season tickets. I think the game may be somewhat close to begin with but LSU will wear them down in the end. LSU will not be napping like Michigan did. I caught enough you know what last year wearing my LSU stuff but guess what who took home the bling.....LSU TIGERS

I think it will be close for awile before we pull away. App st. has a good program. Kudos to them for stepping up. Keep in mind though that all of this sheet talking is only going to make angry an already wide awake giant. You won't sneak up on us after the great win at Michigan!Good luck to you guys on the season. Ya'll were classy the last time you came down (the donation from the student body for Katrina relief was awesome). Good luck on the 4 peat and try to stay healthy. My score...31 to 17, 17 to 14 at the half!
