So much hatred and physical violence. Is this the sportsmanship you show towards all visiting teams? You guys must be more worried that we App Fans thought.

I don't know how much more they could've done

The truth be said, UNC could have scheduled APP while LSU was waiting on Texas Tech to balk being Saturday's opponent, which opened the door for APP.

APP has a much more difficult time finding I-A opponents than McNeese, particularly now after the Michigan win.

Good luck to McNeese on Saturday. Hope they pummel the Tarholes.

It would be the second coming of the Big House clearing, Tennessee Waltz style.

Too bad LSU couldn't hold up it's end of the ESPN "Clash of the Champions" #1 vs. #1.

Oh, I forgot, ESPN hates LSU, so I guess #1 vs. #7 will have to suffice for ratings.

That was last year. Both Tebow and Edwards will be better this year, with our results favoring Edwards.

Fannation: Edwards will be best player on LSU Field

AppNation appreciates you keeping up with the latest and greatest AppState news.

THat will make it that much better when they get WELCOMED to Death Valley & the SEC. They will be wishing they were back in the big house playing a big ten opponent. (TIGERFANZZ)

Let's look at 2007 results (thanks to Moustache, for the previous post logic):

Appalachian St beat Michigan,
Michigan beat Florida,
Florida beat Kentucky,
Kentucky beat LSU.

Now who looks girly?

Dude, Armanti will be talked about for 2 more years, whatever the LSU outcome.

Appalachian State isn't even the best team in their conference. They just got good the past 4 or 5 years. Georgia Southern is the powerhouse in that conference and will be. Win 6 national championships then you would be considered the Best in 1-AA

All things being equal, then it can be said that LSU isn't even the best team in their conference. They just got good the past 5 years. ALABAMA is the powerhouse in that conference and will be. Win 10 BCS National Championships (non-playoff style) and then you could be considered the Best in the SEC. Win 13 BCS National Championships and we'll consider you for the Best in I-A.

I agree. Remember this "Big Hit" on Early Doucet from our meeting in 2005? (Timeframe 1:04-1:15) for your viewing pleasure.

Doucet Clocked by Wiggins

Expect Tiger Stadium to be displaying stats at least double the amount Armanti had by the end of the first half in the Michigan game.

The D will have to catch AE first, which is doubtful to occur.

Yes. Seeing is believing, particularly in person.

Whichever one simulates the best performance on Xbox NCAAA 09 Football?!

Will be a great game, but Armanti will outperform either of them by night's end.

To the contrary, LSU gets props from Herbsreit last September pre-Michigan game vs. Appalachian.

He was anti-Appalachian, before having to eat his cupcake at the end of the day.

Hope ESPN does GAMEDAY in the Bayou on 8-30, can't wait to hear what he has to say. It's great ESPN committed to LSU, albeit asking them to move kickoff up to 4pm
