On Baton sports radio 104.5 with Charles and Jimmy, naturally we appear to have some disagreements but I appreciated the lengthy discussion of LSU's offense, offering differing opinions, this why we need such lengthy discussions and debate, it's a new day and exciting time for LSU's offense.

To the sponsor, Mike Anderson's, appreciate that you sponsored a lengthy segment on LSU's offense, would like more of that, will be visiting Anderson's soon, to any other sponsor listening, take notice!

I agree whole hardheartedly with Charlie that there's nothing to fear here for LSU's defense, that Canada's offense will offer different changes of pace on different downs, sometimes appearing fast but yet still using up plenty clock, letting the LSU defense rest.

Charlie and Jimmy's assessment of freshman phenom QB Narcisse, is that though he's likely to be used near the goal for LSU, he is just a PROJECT. Sorry guys, but have to disagree, let's give the highly athletic young man time to show and hone his skills before devaluing his abilities. Canada certainly appears to value them.

Canada raved about running-back Darrel Williams for several minutes to the media, Williams does everything well according to Canada. Jimmy values Williams abilities as well, as a really good running-back, and I completely agree. Charlie on the other hand thinks Darrel is just an average back, couldn't disagree more with Charlie's opinion, especially considering Canada sees Williams progress and abilities everyday, with all of Canada's hype of Williams, for a second I thought Canada was promoting him as a Heisman candidate.

Both Charlie and Jimmy appeared far more excited regarding LSU's offense after Canada's media press conference, on that we all agree.

I think Canada sees a potential Jacoby Brissett in Narcisse.

Your sarcasm is dutifully noted, doesn't change the nature of the discussion.

Narcisse is a project because he has never taken a snap under center.

He hasn't taken many snaps over two years because of injuries, I concede that being a problem, but with all of his talent he possesses, he appears more than a Project.

No! I've been mighty peeved about the near silence and lack of excitement on 104.5 in BR regarding LSU's offense, that appears to have changed since the Canada interview with media yesterday, I was just thanking everyone involved.

What happened to your conspiracy theory that LSU has muzzled Ott &U Hannigriff?

ACL surgeries on each knee has much to do w/ this.

I believe Canada was referring to his leadership qualities.
I agree that he is, at best, an average SEC running back.

It certainly appeared that way, damn silence on sports radio when LSU's making an historic move on offense.

Would that near silence be related to the fact that the media was locked out of practice until yesterday? The media was at practice yesterday and now they are reporting positive things about the offense. Makes sense to me.

There was no silence on the offense from earlier last week. I was curious as to why you posted your theory.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday there was very little discussion except to say LSU's passing was a problem.

You obviously misread Canada's impression of Williams.

Aside fro missing the last two years, almost all the unbiased assessments I've see about Narcisse say he has accuracy issues, though he is a gifted athlete with a strong arm and his accuracy issues may be related to footwork/body position. That all adds up to him being a project, albeit a project with tremendous upside potential.
