For you old f_ _ _ _ _ s the weather might be a problem especially when you drink large quanities of alcohol and have 30% body fat but I bet I will see plenty of cramping on both sides of the ball...both teams. I don't think the weather will sneek up on App any more than App will sneek up on LSU.

And we were all doing fine having a good time picking with all you folks , BUT when someone doesn't recognize that App is in the South....that's the final straw.

Right, I didn't know App was in the south. Our point about the weather (with me not so much the players, they are conditioned, and I agree with cramping on both sides issue) is the humidity. Can you admit that, although both states are in the south, they can have different weather conditions? That's all I was trying to say. It was said it is going to be hotter here, and neers comes back with, "we're both in the south". To me that's the rediculous comment.

Settle down there hillbillie. The "little man syndrome" on display here by some of the APP fans is hillarious. Don't get upset or offended. It's all in good fun. Your team and some of your fans will come down here, have a good time, take their arse-whoppin like real men, and go home. It's that simple. Weather, geography, past records (or upsets), all mean nothing.
Se ya in 47 days. If you want, this can be fun. If you are an arse, you will be treated as such.

Boone is nice in the summer...it sometimes gets hot, but never really unbearable.

I have been to the Baton Rouge area in the summer, and it is everything you guys are saying with the heat and humidity. I swear if you are inside and just think about going outside your body starts to sweat.

I can't believe someone actually wasted the money to put that on a billboard. (In reference to that lame picture at the end). Almost as if people actually care about what ever Sub league title that App. State won. It made me laugh.

There were over 40 billboards in North and South Carolina. They were up for about 4 months and are now on a rotation with about 10 billboards at a time.

My wife and I used to hike Grandfather every year. Profile trail across the top can be rugged, don't slip on the ladders or your done!

I think your point is WELL known, maybe not read correctly.

Good teams don't have excuses about weather conditions, so thats why APP fans try not to listen to it. And its true that both teams have to play in it. I know what your saying is LSU is used to it but remember "our" strength and conditioning coach, coached under Moffitt for a few years and will have APP as ready as possible.

I would say LSU has many other advantages and GOOD reasons to think they will win BUT the APP Football team does not go into ANY game htinking they are going to lose. ONLY good teams understand that way of thinking.

Look forward to seeing you Aug 30

Yes, I agree with you. My points in a nutshell:

* It will be hotter here than it will be Carolina. EVEN though both teams are in the south.

* The fans will be more affected by the heat than the players. BUT IF there is an advantage, it would go slightly to LSU because we are in it more. Only slight, because both teams are from the south, after all.

Maybe I came across more clear this time.

I know that you know that App is in the South...just having fun. 3,333 feet of elevation difference will have different weather sure....so will 25 extra pounds on your linemen.

Now another topic...Anyone with the handle "YesIndeedy" doesn't need to be making fun of any billboard.

Third comment: I like SouthEndZone's spelling of "Rediculous" better.....Got that cajun flavor to it!

Seriously don't even try to debate the weather. It will be a factor. Ask Virginia Tech. WE had this same discussion last year.
