I'm thinking that something similar to THIS will happen.
Exactly, I was at this game and it was hideous.

I am surprised by the volatility and aura of invincibility many LSU fans here are currently sporting.
NO, it's just we feel they're invincible against WASHINGTON!!

I am mot worrying about a let down becuase I remember the way LSU prepared for App St. We had prepared for them if we were preparing for Florida. There will be no let down

Just like Utah was about to experience the brute force of an SEC team, right?

LSU has lots of question marks, but 0-11 Washington doesn't.
The things you hear on the rant.

Obviously haven't made a Saturday night trip to Death Valley in the fall...volatility doesn't even begin to describe things.

If anything, I thought that 5 losses last year would have at least instilled a sense of humility in some of you.
Well, let's take a look at those 5 losses:
UF-Natl. Champs
UGA-10 win season
Bammer-12 win season
Webels-10 win season
Arky-War Memorial Nightmare, Part II
Outside of USuCk, which of the other UW losses can compare?

No doubt LSU has been one of the premiere programs of the past decade. However, you guys were down by, what, 20+ points at home to Troy? Now, yes, LSU did come back...but the fact that you got that far behind to that kind of team indicates some severe issues, which didn't seem to get fixed last year as the season progressed. Whose to say those problems have been eliminated completely?
If you knew more about college football, you'd know that Troy has given many D-1 teams fits for the last several years. LSU lost a D coordinator & one of the most highly-recruited QBs in the country before the season started, so the struggles weren't a great surprise to many of us. Let your guy Locker be out & see how well you do...wait, you've already seen. As for these "problems" you keep referencing, the LSU team that crushed GTU in Atlanta is more likely the team you'll see next week than the one that lost 5 SEC games.

Maybe we will lose by 40 points. But, I think a lot of you will be surprised come September 5th when in the 4th quarter, it is till a one to two possession game. A lot of our fans are extremely excited. This, to us, is our "bowl" game, and CSS will have the boys ready to play, no doubt. ;)
It may play out that way, which would be a surprise. Don't doubt that UW players/coaches/fans will be amped up for the game, but one more thing that will surprise you is the depth of quality players on the LSU roster--they will just keep coming at UW in waves, which may mean the 4th quarter gets ugly.
Best wishes for an injury-free game on both sides.

OK I live on the west coast and had the misfortune to watch Udub a few times, I can say I hope you guys turned it around 180 because you were not playing football last year.

He's right - Washington doesn't have question marks - there's no question that they are terrible.

Realistically, don't think we haven't thought about it. We know you've got an improved coaching staff and kids that are hungry to show what they can do. But on the flip side, we've got an improved coaching staff as well and our kids are hungry after an embarrassing year last year. They're not coming into Washington thinking they are all that and that there's no way they can lose. This will be an opening statement game for our players and they've said as much. Will you give us a fight? No doubt. You wouldn't be a BCS level team with a really nice history if you didn't. I do expect our team will win but we know your guys will give it everything they have. I'm hoping for an injury free game for everyone!

Why does everyone keep hyping Sarkisian as an improvement at the HC position? Has he ever been a HC of any kind?? Kiffen should have more respect than him.
