Anyone think that calls have been made to other Conferences, Networks, Steaming, etc.?

They have to, there’s no way LSU’s relationship with the SEC will ever be the same after this, especially if the vote is unanimous. They need to move on. I’m not saying today, but I’d be working on getting the frick asap.

I don’t think joining another conference would be the answer. If conference affiliation is the goal LSU would work to stay in the SEC.

My guess is the SEC won’t be around much longer unless it somehow gets a court to say that because of mutual agreement the as a governing body have complete authority over member institutions. That argument didn’t work for leagues like the NFL, NBA, and MLB, I don’t see it working here.
